OK but had to have them come back to complete what I asked them to originally do. Also to clean up some nails. Office help very responsive but I think some of the workers need additional training.

They do excellent work. Installed metal roof on angled section and combination on flat roof section. Replaced rotted wood without me asking. Cleaned up after the job and finished in th time quoted. One BIG issue however which appears to be legendary about this firm.......they are POOR in communicating with the customer. I had to call THEM as the start date was moved x 2. No contact for months-----------was 4 months from the time I signed the contract till they started! They need to clean this aspect of their business up.

They arrived on time and got right to work. The roof was finished in a day and a half, and all debris was removed. This is the second roof I've had Crosier & Son install and I've been pleased both times with the work and the outcome. I've also had them repair storm damage a couple of times over the past twenty-some years and have been very happy with their work and professionalism. They've always been courteous and helpful and a pleasure to work with.

We were very pleased with the professional manner and workmanship that the company displayed. The estimate was promptly presented, all paper work (permits, etc.0 was handled by them. The work crew was very efficient and courteous and certainly knew what they were doing. We'd like to give a special thank you to J J who was in charge of the work crew. We would recommend Crosier and Son Roofing to anyone in need of roofing work.

Second time I have used them. They are not friendly. I thought $175 for nailing down 5 shingles was high but they said it was more involved than that. I do think they must be honest because after a hail storm many of my neighbors got new roofs but he inspected some and said they weren't necessary but one company made a killing!

Well we went with them because their plywood cost was cheaper than McFall's, and we didn't know how much plywood we would end up needing.
They came out and finished the whole 1350 sq foot house in about 8 hours, which was great.
But about 2 weeks later there was a section on the roof that kinda popped out, so I called them and they were responsive- and fixed it quickly. Though they didn't leave any paper work saying what exactly was done (I was at work).
While they were doing the roof the 1st time, one of the workers urinated by the corner of the house and fence, which so happened to be by a window... I understand it's hot work and they need to stay hydrated... but still.
Since the roofing I've stepped on TWO square roof nails (google image it), both by the high traffic pool pump area, required a tetanus booster. Ok , mistakes happen- can't expect them to get EVERY nail... even by an area where people walk often (?).
After the second one, I called them up- asked them to please come out and re-magnetize the pool pump area. They did. Cool.
Well today, my wife stepped on one- thru the sandal, thru the foot. So off we go to get another tetanus booster. Called them again, asked them to please come out and magnetize the entire yard this time. The woman who answers the phone is always polite and accommodating, but this stepping on nails thing is getting tiresome.
I work at a local hospital and am constantly treating people coming for cellulitis (google image it). Had I or my wife been a diabetic, this could have been very serious. Next up on the list is, is googling if dogs can get tetanus, as they are always running around back there.

There was a bit of a hiccup in the beginning with scheduling between the primary contractor and the roofing contractor. I do not know who was at fault. Once Crosier was scheduled they came out and did a good job. The workers were professional and polite. They did not leave messes as some of the other subcontractors did. They were very conscientious about searching for fallen roofing nails.
We had concerns about the light output from one the solatubes. They came out multiple times to address our concerns.
We are considering having a fourth solatube installed and will use Crosier for the work. They will also be who we call for reroofing my mother's property in the near future.

There were some minor hiccups scheduling them to come out, but once a time was set they were punctual, thorough, professional and Mr. Crosier clearly knew what he was talking about. It was a very hot day, but he was happy to stand there with us and explain in detail all of the pros/cons and concerns about the roof and it's current condition. When it comes time to replace the roof, they're going to be my first call.

The supplier of materials for the roof came by, dropped off the supplies, declined an offer of payment and THEN, the very next day, filed a lien on the house! The work on the roof isn't complete yet! I am aghast at this action-- Crozier is barking up the wrong tree if they think homeowners won't react to this sort of crappy treatment.

We bought our 1978 home from a friend in July of this year. In Sept the roof of the living room and master bedroom began to leak. We contacted our friend and she told us about our roof. The roof started leaking in 2006 and was completely replaced by Crosier that same year. Only after 6 years it began leaking again. Our friend contacted the owner in June of 2012. They came and 'repaired' the leak. When it happened again in Sept, we called them again. Someone came and didn't even look at the leaking sites and started pulling and moving nails. I wasn't too confident with his work, so I asked him to come back just to confirm. When he cam back, he noticed that this second leak was much more extensive than the first leak in June. He went back on the roof and did some more repairs. We kept having trouble, so I kept calling them. This time the owner came by and we both went to take a look. There were multiple nails just laying around with many of the shingles loose. He told me that he needed to show this to the rep that sells them their materials. They came by and a report was generated... The roof was replaced with the assurance it would last us more than 20 years and now we're faced to having to hire another company to fix their bad job and replace our stained wood. In the meanwhile the once beautiful wood covering our living room and master bedroom is stained and likely rotting. They've abandoned us! Do NOT expect their roofs to last!

Great. There were some rainy days, but they managed to get the job done in 5 days.
They handled dealing with the rain issue very well.
Polite and punctual.
One problem after the job done and they came out immediately and fixed it.

This company started working on the roof as promised. Also, they cleaned after themselves once the job was completed.
A good job well done.

Roof was replaced in 2007. House was 15 yrs old, well maintained and in excellent condition. Previous owner had small leak, which Crossier sold as requiring entire roof replacement. Crossier built a "cricket" on upper side of chimney to divert water from chimney base and roof. We purchased house 12 months after new roof install....and immediately noticed a leak. Seller told us to call Crossier as it had a 5 year "warranty". 1st repair trip: Technician came and caulked but did not see a problem. 2nd repair trip: 2 weeks later he was called out again...but this time said the chimney cap was not caulked. He caulked and placed a "plastic bag" over chimney cap stating they would return to chekc leak and remove "bag". He never returned to remove and the 'trash bag" cover blew off. Our leak continued to become larger down the inside wall of chimney and into ceiling and screen porch attachment. 3rd repair trip: Came out and decided to caulk around the chimney base, but had no idea where the leak was. Never went into attic to look at damage...and left Leak getting very bad and damage can be seen in ceiling and inside attic. WE went on the roof, ran a hose and worked to find the problem. WE tarred at base of Chimney, which we found had never been done...WE found the "new" cricket was built with gaps in the wood seams.....incorrect or no flashing, no angle flashing to stop water from crease...no tar paper in places. WE fixed the problem. I would not use them to take out my trash. I spoke with the techs...and a supervisory technician. They seemed to think it was our problem since they could not locate the issue. This was not a one time visit and they were given several opportunities to fix their problem...even at a cost to us. Therefore I give then an "F" in every area. I firmly believe that the cricket and new roof was install but may not have been needed. Additionally, we have been picking up large square headed rusted roof nails in the entire yard. Kids have stepped on them far from the house. The nails were apparantly dumped in the yard area, as were shingles found dumped in the back. We are considering replacing the 4 year old roof. Find ANOTHER roofing company.

Since our job was a pretty small job, they called on a Thursday to schedule it for the next day but I couldn't do that day. A week or so later they called back to ask if Friday would work for us and it did. So we had about a day's notice before the work began. The crew started around 7:30 in the morning and were done about 3 in the afternoon with everything cleaned up and taken care of. Then the additional woodwork was completed on other days. The crew was professional and all very kind and attentive to our needs of getting out of the house and making sure we didn't step on any nails as they were in the process of removing the roof when we needed to leave the house. Charlie and his son were wonderful to us and very kind. They took care of all the wood work we needed done and did a great job. The only problem that we had was that our water heater's hood came seperated from the water heater during the removal of the roof and the crew didn't notice (since it was indoors). I mentioned it to Charlie when he came and he took care of it that morning. They were great, I'm so glad we went with this company and I highly reccomend them.
