Once it got to their location the car worked fine and started every time they tried. They kept it for a few days at my request and it started for them every time. They did not charge me for the evaluation. The old van was due for a tune up so I asked them to tune it up and they did so at a very competitive price. I was surprised that they also fixed the temperature gauge at no additional charge. I never even mentioned it since the car was running fine and I did not want to spend the extra money. The mechanic on the job went the extra mile - for that, they earned my long term business

All of the guys at City Line are honest and fair. They won't do unnecessary work just for the money. They will be honest about how urgent a repair is and even try to find a less expensive option for you if your funds are tight. When my daughter got a nail in her tire and had no cash on her, Mike said, and quot;I know your mom. Just tell her to pay us the next time she is in.and quot; They've done that for us several times and, as a single mom, I am very reassured knowing that my daughter will be taken care of when she has a car emergency.
Every repair they have done has lasted. Their diagnoses have been spot on each time and their repairs are good. My coworker has used them for years and recently sold her car. When the dealer opened the hood to evaluate the engine, he said and quot;who has been your mechanic? This is one of the cleanest engines I've seen.and quot; when my coworker said and quot;City Lineand quot;, the dealer said, and quot;then this car will be in very good shape. They are some of the best mechanics in town.and quot;
Their prices seem to have gone up a little recently, but whose hasn't? And I would rather pay a little more for quality work that I know is necessary than pay less for something that won't last.
I highly recommend them.

Very well. Everything that was recommended by the manufacturer was done and the quality of the work was excellent. They were about $400 cheaper than the dealership.

We've been going to them for over 20 years. They are a local gas station as well. They are great. Their prices are in line with anybody else. They are great. They are honest and their price is fair. They only fix what needed to be fixed.

After they had fixed one of my vehicles, my daughter heard a strange sound. I called and they told me to bring in the car as soon as I could - when convenient for me. They saw me/the car right away - and drove me to work. I got a call about 2 hours later saying that the sound wasn't anything to worry about and that there was no charge for them to take a look. When a repair is needed they are careful to explain what's needed now and why and what will be needed in the future.

I have used City Line for the past 3 years that we have been in Gainesville. Working with those guys is a breath of fresh air. They are honest and seem to be interested in doing what's right by the customer. We were having major problems with an older van and the electrical system and A/C. They looked at it and said that we'd have to take it to the dealer since it was eletrical and they didn't charge us anything for looking at it. That's just one example. We've have them do other work as well and we've always been very satisfied with the experience.

This work was performed satisfactorily, however my displeasure with this company started with the replacement of the other high pressure line which had been replaced prior. That was at a cost of @ $100. When I got home from this earlier repair, I still had a leak. I was so angry, I couldn't see straight and it took me a while(too long) to call back. What I was finally told was that there was so much spray from the first hose replacement that they couldn't tell if the other one was leaking or not. I wasn't advised of this at the time of service. I also had a quote done for an A.C. repair at the time of the second hose replacement for $100. When I brought it in later to get it taken care of the price ballooned to well over $800 without actually including the cost of the recharge.The total likely would have been $875. I was told I caused the problem myself, but had never been advised how to avoid causing any further damage to the system by anyone at the repair facility. I had it repaired elsewhere for 20% less than what they had quoted me.

Very well. I stopped by and discussed the issue with them and made plans to drop off the car that night and it was ready the next day.

The ability to drop off and pick up until 10 p.m. or so is a very nice service.

I have been using City LIne Marathon for years. They are excellent and honest mechanics and recommend only what is needed. Their charges for services and parts are very reasonable. The few times I have had to take one of my cars back to them for follow-up, they resolved the issue to my satisfaction.
