"Chappell Contracting prides ourselves on giving the best service possible. In this particular case our customer hired us to originally make repairs due to a hurricane that came through Gainesville back in 2017. We fought for the family to get their house tore down and build over new. We used all our resources available to make this happen for Eddie and his wife. Fortunately, for them we were successful in getting them approved for a brand new three-bedroom and two-bathroom house. The house they were living in before was a very old house that was in great disrepair and probably would have had a value of $40,000. The new house that we built is today worth well over $220,000 and when we finished the house it was very beautiful. As a new build we are required by the county to pull permitting and have each trade inspected and signed off to proceed to the next step of the build. Also, we are required to have all licensed subcontractors only. This is verified by the county and state. We maintained that through the entire project. We finished the project, and the county gave us the certificate of occupancy based on the house going through all inspections successfully. There was never another contractor that came in and finished the house. We were the only contractor on the permit. The Darby's moved in shortly after and were very happy with their house."
