The service from Buckhalter Heating & AIr was outstanding from the quote to install. Jessica was awesome. Chester went out of his way to come set up temporary ac units the day before install. The guys that installed the unit were knowledgeable and courteous. They did a fantastic job!

I had lightning damage to my A/C in the middle of the night. Buckhalter was on the phone at 8:00am to schedule service. Great response. My unit was back operational the same day. Excellent service! Technician arrived within a few hours of placing a service call. Problem was quickly diagnosed as an iced evaporator coil. Chester provided a detailed explanation of the problem and necessary repairs. He suggested ways to prevent future issues. Repair cost was very reasonable. We will definitely use Buckhalter Heating & AC in the future!

Their follow-up to my initial contact was fast and Chester got out to assess the situation in a timely manner. He presented several options to consider and advised us in what we hope is the right choice. Chester got us back up and running within a day of getting our parts... we now have BH&A as our preferred HVAC company.

Fixed my A/C for a VERY reasonable price. The company that originally installed my A/C wanted 4X the amount! Expertise along with a willingness to fix something instead of just replacing parts is something that isn t around much anymore. These guys are great and will be installing my next A/C...whenever that is. Currently its running great! Thanks guys!

I hope this unit is as good as the service i received

We had an issue with our aircon system at our apartment in Gainesville. Chester came out and did a thorough inspection, identifying that the compressor was dead. He gave a recommendation on the repair with a very detailed explanation to support his recommendation. Made a lot of sense to me and was the FIRST time any aircon person has taken the effort to do this. He gave a price that was reasonable and did a great job. Chester is very informative and has a lot of knowledge. He is keen to share his knowledge as an informed customer makes better decisions. He is a straight up guy and I would recommend Buckhalter to anyone.

When we turned on the AC for the first time this season, we discovered it was dead. Chester came out to look at it and gave it a thorough going over with all of the options. As old as our system was, we opted for a brand new system and we had it installed in less than a week. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional the whole time. Thanks, guys!

I highly recommend Buckhalter and Chester, specifically! We are new homeowners, and also new to Florida, so we have recently learned the importance of maintaining our A/C system. From the first time we connected with Buckhalter on Home Advisor, they were quick to contact us and set up a time for our service. They were very friendly and patient on the phone, and we were able to set up an appointment within a few days of calling. We signed up for the Silver service plan, but ultimately found out that our system needed some work. The first time Chester came to our home, he was very polite and spent lots of time explaining everything to us and patiently and expertly answering all of our questions (and we had many questions!). We explained some concerns about our system, and Chester took the extra time to figure out what might be going on, even though we had originally only requested preventative maintenance. Chester returned the next day, as promised, and fixed the issue with our unit. He spent the time to make sure everything was perfect, and didnâ t leave until he had checked all possible system components to make sure that our A/C was running at its best ability. I am sure that this unknown issue that needed fixing impacted Chesterâ s work schedule, but he was very kind to continue to work on our system until it was running perfectly. Our system has not run this well since we bought our home! We have an older system, so we wonâ t think twice about where to purchase our next system â we will call Buckhalter!
