American Roofing Inc

Went right over a huge amount of rotten wood. I wasn't able to tell for a few years until we saw cracks and wet spots in the ceiling. Now we have 10x the repair work from their negligence.

I just bought a house this past march
2012.  I had it inspected by Don Gosek. My Realtor is Andrea Martin.  My
house is 3633 NW 53rd ave Gainesville Fl 32653.   It is through FHA . I
have found out in the last few weeks that my kitchen ceiling was
drooping and my paint on the wall was bubbling . I sent my husband into
look at it. Mind you that this roof was replaced in  2009 by American
Roofing Inc. Robert J Easter # ccc1325616.  We had found out that the
roofer papered and tiled over rot in some areas. We have pictures. Not
only that we found out that the valleys were not sealed so I have active
leaking.  As of the roof rot there is a hole as big as my husband's
hand that is paper and roofed over it and there is molding going on. I
called my inspector and told him and he just told me what do you want to
do about it it could have happened now  and it has been over ten months
ago. I told him that is no way that is possible. I have called my
realtor, the sellers' attorney ..  They all just say what do you want me
to do about it. That they keep telling so and so has the warranty of
the house. it was listed as a  New 30 architectural shingle roof.  I was
told that this house has a warranty.   So I have made repeated calls to
Mr. Easter  and he will not return my calls. I am trying to call
everyone and go onto every site to figure out what to to do and even
Facebook. I have gotten a few leads on what to do.   I have done some
research and I have found that this is a habit for Mr. Easter. By FHA
standards I should have 2 years min on this roof and I don't think i may
have a month if we have a big rain.  I have a 5 month old daughter( who
was 2 month early) in the house. In the kitchen the ceiling is bowing,
in her room it is starting to bow, and the ceiling is cracking in the
living . I don't know what to do .. Can some one please help me?

office roof metal and works fine, but had to push to get done in timely manner
house was asphalt shingle.  problem with getting them to finish timely, several leaks that had to be fixed multiple times.  one leak still not repaired and unable to get any help with repair.
workers unprofessional and not even consistent form one day to next

The two workers were smoking marijuana on the job (I was being forgiving of this unfortunately). I had to remind them to replace the rotted wood and to remove the old shingles. They screwed the new metal roof incorrectly and unskillfully. Now the metal roof looks wrinkly.
