I called on Friday. I was told that the repairman would be here between 2 and 4 on Monday. They did not call and no one showed up! I wish that I had looked on Angie's List first. I wouldn't still be waiting.

Tech came out and replaced several different parts. Said it worked. First load of laundry, nothing... remained Broken. Called back whch happened to be on a friday. No same day service. Said it would be the following week before someone could come out. Lady answering the calls at the front desk extremely defensive and rude. Kept referring to the service manager who is her, big surprise, her MOTHER. They came out the next week and "fixed" it again. Except they didnt actually fix it. Remained broken. This is now nearly 3 weeks without a washer for a family of 5. Called on a Thursday to ask for a refund. Didn't call back. Friday still nothing. Called Friday afternoon. Got the same rude lady who answered the phone and conveniently couldn't get in touch with the service manager to get approval for a refund. Did I mention the service manager is her MOTHER? She began to yell at me, told me I was rude, and never to call her company again when I demanded a refund. Stay away. Stay far far away. Horrible customer service. Horrible repair services. When things dont go right, they are a small family business without regard for how to treat people that use their services. I could have overlooked it all if they would have agreed to refund my 250.00. In fact, i would have thought them a good company and would have used them again. Alas, just a huge disappointment, especially from a local company.

Shame on me for not checking Angie's List before calling them. Originally charged $687.00 for a part that they offered on their website for $188.00. Did not properly diagnose the problem, had to have an authorized GE tech come to the house. The repair parts from GE cost $21.00 and $18.00. Communication was terrible trying to make them understand that we were overcharged for the part. Finally got a $300.00 refund which still did not make us whole since the part that we paid for was not the problem with the oven. We are still waiting for a corrected receipt for our records. They told me we would have that last Week. Right.

My washing machine wasn't working well and had leaked water from bottom after last use. Contacted A Same Day Appliance Service to get it repaired. They did respond the quickly and sent an experienced tech out. Sadly he said my Maytag Washing Machine (less than 3 yrs old) would be very expensive to fix and that it really wasn't worth spending big bucks on such poor quality appliance. Better to put cash towards a new one. So I had to pay the service fee of $69. anyway; but did get some advice and information and learned which brands of Washer/dryers are better.

I called the company to get a refrigerator repaired. They are prompt at getting someone to your home, but the follow up after is frustrating. There is no followup on status of repair completion or part order . The last 2 times I used this company I had to call several times to get an update on when my parts would be in. It took over 2 weeks. Both times they apologized but said the repair man had an emergency, the second time they told me the service man was in the hospital. Although I can empathize with such situations, if you have these events that prevent a response , its not the customers responsible to make sure the company handles and completes the repair.

My refrigerator stopped cooling on Saturday afternoon.  I called A Same Day Appliance Repair and had to leave a message.  Approximately two hours later, someone called me to say Mike would be out Sunday between 12-2pm. She repeated several times that Mike would call before he headed to my home.  12:00 on Sunday came, no Mike, no call.  2:00 came, no Mike, no call. At 2:30, I called their office and had to leave another message, thinking I had made a mistake and that the appointment was Monday.  At 3:15, as I was dialing to make my second call,  I received an incoming call from the woman I had spoken to the day before.  She was calling to let me know that Mike had an emergency and needed to cancel the rest of his appointments.  When I mentioned that I had left a message for her earlier, to try to find out when Mike was supposed to arrive, she acted surprised over hearing that he'd not been to my home yet (why was she calling me, then?).  She stated she was going to try to reschedule me for the following morning.  Because I declined  Monday (too difficult to schedule last minute), she said she'd call her manager to see what they could do for me.  Note - she didn't offer me any other times to schedule the visit.  No optional times were offered on another day.  She simply repeated that she'd call her manager several times.  So I waited.  And waited.  It's now 7:40pm, Sunday, and I never heard back from her.  I have no refrigerator and no service appointment scheduled.  Frankly, this shoddy experience is the reason I became a member of Angie's list.  I can't imagine being in the emergency repair business and treating someone like this. Thanks to everyone out there who has given great reviews for the other companies in town!!  I appreciate your comments.  Wish I would have gone this route the first time.  It sure would have saved me time, headache, heartache, stress and grief.

Our drier quit working in the evening, called them the next day. The company had an available time when i was off work which was great. The repair guy showed up i didnt have to remove the drier he got in there found the problem with in 30 mins looked up the part and gave me the estimate and completed the repair all within an hour of coming to my house.
They are very friendly and explain stuff very well

Kenmore dryer had stopped working. I found the company on the internet and made a payment for a housecall online.  When I heard nothing for a couple of days I called the company number and the owner seemed surprised that his website had payment capability.  Apparently he was not notified that I had asked to schedule a visit. He came out a day or two later in early August and after tapping around on the computer panel it worked again. He charged a total of $75 for that visit. When the dryer stopped working again a month later he replaced the defective computer panel and that solved the problem.

My husband scheduled an appointment for a repairman to come out and fix our (clothes) washing machine.  He was told the repairman would be there between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.  Like most couples, we both work day jobs, so he had to take the afternoon off and arrived home at 1:50 pm.  When he arrived, there was a card stating that the repairman had already been there, so he called the company.  The receptionist said that she would contact the repairman and call us back.  1 1/2 hours later my husband still had not heard back from them, so he phoned again.  He was told the same thing - that the repairmen were still in the field and that she
would contact someone and call us back.  We never heard back from them.  Since the company also has Saturday hours, my husband called the next morning and spoke withe the repairman that had come by too early.  My husband informed him that the appt was supposed to be between 2 and 4 pm, and that he had been home at 1:50 pm, but the repairman had already come and gone.  The repairman was rude and began arguing with my husband about it, at which point my husband said he didn't want to argue about
the time and asked if anyone was available to come out that day, to which the repairman replied, "No."  Unbelievable!   Obviously we
contacted another service for the repair.

My parents are older and saw an add for this company in the paper.  What caught their eye was that the company stated the service fee would be included in any needed repair and that there would be an additional 15% discount on the repair.  Yes, my parents are thrifty, but rightfully so.  I just wish they would shop for service among reputable, established companies.  Anyway, the guy came out at about 5:30 in the evening, which didn't sound right to me for a legitimate company.  Anyway, the guy showed up in his personal vehicle and not in uniform.  I'm a stickler for professionalism, but maybe that's just me.  So he comes in with his tool bag, and spends about two minutes touching the machine before he says the motor is shot and we might as well get a new washer.  He looked at it a little more but seemed to be "winging it" and not very knowledgeable.  I then had to pay him the $59 service fee, which came out to over $200/hr in reality.  My dad showed me their website, which includes phone numbers and says they are based out of Gainesville, but provides no physical address.  There is a contact form but no email listed.  The website claims they have built an "excellent" reputation in the area over the past 30 years, but I couldn't find a single review of this company, positive or negative.  This all seemed very un-kosher to me, so I googled the service person's name.  The guy that had just been here was a career violent felony offender and had been to prison multiple times for crimes including drug sales, robbery, burglary, and aggravated assault.  With everything considered, I feel my parents were conned out of 60 bucks by a life-long criminal that is far from the "factory trained technicians" the website claims to employ.  If you are in need of appliance repair, I would look elsewhere.
