A Beautiful Yard

This company is highly recommended. Matt is superb as a person, garden designer, and as a reliable contractor. He seems to enjoy designing gardens (he has a college degree on the subject) and he is flexible accommodating any needs that arise. His crew was very efficient and quick in working and finishing our garden. We actually ended up paying less that the original contract estimate, which is very unusual for contractors. And we are very happy with the results too. If we needed landscaping again, I will hire the Beautiful Yard without hesitation.

highly recommend. Jeff and his team at A Beautful yard. I contacted a A Beautful Yard to design and install a garden that I wanted to build as a tribute to my mom who really loved plants and flowers. I think of this project as one most important project to me for sentimental reasons that I’ve ever done and I’m so glad that found a Beautful yard. The yard was seriously overgrown as my mom wasn’t able to keep it up as she got older and battled various illnesses. I met with Jeff to explain what I wanted, he listened to the overall look I wanted and created a very detailed and creative plan and then executed that plan flawlessly. I’m simply amazed at the attention to detail and planning and the depth of knowledge. The work included building a paver deck, installing paver walkways, a gravel pathway, installing irrigation, transplanting existing plants, installing new plants , adding landscaping lights, installing sod in the front and backyard etc. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the team.

A Beautiful Yard turned out to be my ideal "one-stop shopping" to deal with several nagging exterior issues. Matt listened to what our household wanted and why we wanted it; he took care to put in space for a desired piece of sporting equipment (to be installed after the fact) into the design. After the initial consultation, he returned in a fairly timely manner to go over the design proposal and rough estimate (pending specifics on the paver choices). He was up-front on the scheduling lag of 10-12 weeks from the get-go; minimal follow-up was needed on my part. Specifics: The hardscaping -- the paver choices are legion. The labor of both tear-out of old decking/hot tub/concrete slab went very smoothly, and the debris was removed promptly. The irrigation: I finally have a drip system with a working timer. Matt made sure I knew how to work the timer; his subcontractors (one for the timer, and one for the pump) were prompt, professional, and courteous. The landscaping: The plantings selected are meant to work well in terms of both light/water/soil requirements and my minimal desire to work in a garden. Matt was very patient when it came to answering my questions about "care and feeding" of my new landscape plants.

They took out half a yard worth of azaleas and planted new things. He doesn't get back with you very well. We've used them for several years now.

Matt knows design and functionality, with many ideas and suggestions.  They worked hard to find the pavers that matched my home so it looked like it have been put in from the start. The end result was far beyond our expectations--and those expectations were high!  Feel confident using A Beautiful Yard!

We gave the owner very little input, and he came up with a great design that we really liked. We didn't give them very much to work with, but they came up with a great outcome that we are very pleased with.

They are very expensive but they are extremely professional and artistic and thorough and they work very hard.
