I'm writing this for my 86yr old friend and his caregiver. They had water damage in their modular home. Big Mike as he likes to be called. Praised the lord and was able to sell his work to my 86 yr old friend. I've been in looking the work over and sending pictures to let's say Mr. Bob! Ok. So Mr Bob has been out 50,000 . When asked for a breakdown of the cost. Mr. Bob has been told by Mike the owner of the company. That when he shops for materials, he does this shopping for a couple houses at a time. Saves money to buy by the bulk???. How many contractors does this? If I can post pictures. You'll see rotted wood was just covered over. Rotted flooring that meets up to walls was not replaced, but yet theres lots of materials left over? I'm absolutely disappointed in how Mr Dry(Mike) has done my 86 yr old friend. Like I said . If I could post pictures I would show exactly what the repair work looks like under all the fresh paint! I swear if the wind blew hard enough it will push a window right out and into Bob's bed. The wood is so rotted and was not replaced! Hint.. dont ever let a contractor know how much money your Insurance company gave you. This company will take every dime and then some! If you want to see pictures of Mr Drys work? Let me know I've got plenty...
Description of Work: Underlayment of about 1000 sq ft modular home. Re leveled the house. Removed some rotted sub floor boards. Cut walls 3ft up to remove damaged paneling and insulation. Removed 2 bathroom sinks and toilets to remove the damaged wall and floor. Removed cabinets. All appliances and the carpeting had been removed along with everything else that was destroyed from water damage. That all above cost 20,000 then Mr Dry wanted more money. When asked for a breakdown of what this all has cost in materials and labor. Mr Dry told Mr Bob that he can't give a written receipt for this. That it would be impossible. That when contractors shop for materials. They do everyone's shopping at once. That buying by the bulk is cheaper?? So Is Mr Bob paying for others materials needed to build or finish their homes or visa versa.? Mr Dry wants 30,000 more. That's to put in cabinets, countertop and plastic wood flooring, drywall , paint and 4 doors 2 closet bifold doors. To tell the truth. I wouldn't have a problem with the cost. If the work was done correctly. Remember the size of this home. AC and roofing was done by other companies.

Description of Work: My Home had Mold, and the work has been left undone. This job, has been going on now for EIGHT Months: After receiving almost 40.000.00. Mr DRY, The owner, refugees to complete the job, without another 10.000.00. I told him, Mike, the owner, that I would give him the balance after completion, of the job. He has rec, all the money from the insurance company, plus what I have paid out of pocket.. So Why is he now asking for additional 10.000.00, and telling me, my furniture in storage, that was to be covered, will now cost me another 4.000.00.that is a another cost to me of 14,000.00... Why??? Im going to News station, and to my attorney. This is an outrage. All because I will not pay anymore money, till the job is complete. Did I say Its been 8, that is Eight Months, of living in my bedroom, without a kitchen, and everything else.

Mr Dry, (Mike Brigandi) and his crew did an excellent job for us. This is the 2nd time we have worked with Mike. He and his crew are honest, capable, timely, and show up when promised in addition they do excellent work and hire quality sub contractors.
Description of Work: Flood water extraction, mold testing, wall removal and repair, mold remediation, wood trim/base and casings removed and replaced, crown molding removed and replaced, carpentry, painting, countertop(marble) replaced.
