Now 6 months later it has broken down 6+ times. Each time I have called and they say someone will come out and they never show!

Triton did a fantastic job.  They were on time, very professional, knowledgeable and tidy.  Every step of their service was explained before performed.  The owner was involved.  He coordinated the service and verified my satisfaction at completion. There were no attempts at up-selling.  This a very hands-on, genuine, full service company that goes above and beyond.  There is no question as to their professionalism and very fair pricing.  I will always turn to Triton for my AC needs.

Due to the nature and expected cost of the "diagnosis" we decided to get a second opinion.  Two days later another provider came out, inspected both ACs and diagnosed the problem as a bad motor.  Five hours (including transportation to get the part) later, our AC was working again and to this date, still is.   This provider said there was no mold or conditions that would require a new system, which he estimated would have cost about $5,400.  In fact, he chuckled and shook his head.   Total cost to repair was approximately 1/10th of a new system.

Of course, the proposals were never received from Triton.  Who walks away from a several thousand dollar job by failing to send proposals via email or to follow up thereafter?  Caveat emptor.
