Henry Funk signed a contract to do the above on Sept. 21, 2008. The missing #5 job, regarding tiling, was later done by another contractor. Henry did a fair job refacing the cabinets (he had to do a few strips over. Then, he put the new doors in place and installed the pulls. It looked beautiful until I realized that the refacing Formica did not match the Bright White of the doors. Henry almost died when I pointed it out! Someone goofed, whether it was him or his supplier, I don't know. At that time, I left on my vacation. When I returned, I called Henry, and then, the next day, I called Henry. Henry never gave me the courtesy of a return call. After about four weeks, I left a message that if I don't hear from him, I 'll file a police report. The next day, his helper rang my bell. He removed the three wooden inserts (where the cabinets meet in the corners), and a few days later came back with the insets thermafoiled and installed them. It made the kitchen look finished, but it's not! First, there is one cabinet where there is no refacing. Second, the outside ends are a different color white from the doors. I really don't care about the inside refacing, because it is the same color as my old cabinets and I would leave it. I paid Henry a 50% deposit and paid him a 25% installment when I thought the refacing was done, then he pulled this no show.
