Thermocool personnel were extremely personable, professional and seemed to want to get everything the way we wanted it to work.
The job was going well until the end and we are very unhappy to write that after almost 6 months, the job is still not complete. After everything was up and running, we realized that 1 bedroom was still too warm and the living room still has very poor circulation. The solution that one of the techs came up with was to add a duct in the bedroom. We agreed to a price and waited for Thermocool to schedule a day to do the job. I did say that it wasn't a big rush but I didn't realize that we would have to wait over 3 months for them to finish it!
I have received 2 emails to confirm that they are still trying to schedule us, but to date, 12/17/2015, the job is still waiting. We wish all the air conditioning companies in the area the same blessing that Thermocool must be feeling now to be so busy that they can't install 1 duct in the bedroom and can't perhaps enlarge 1 duct in the living room to finish this job.
I would like to mention that we have every faith in the techs that installed the HVAC system and would gladly have them in to service the system as they were knowledgeable, professional and dedicated to the task.
We are no longer calling to ask for information as we feel that the 74 exchanges of information during this whole process is really enough.
We had purchased a 10 year parts and labor warranty, but when we had a problem and needed their help, they would not come. We were told they had decided not to renew our contract, and would have to call someone else.
Bottom line... We did not receive what we bargained for and paid for,
and when we needed them, they were not available. We would not recommend them for anything.
"The duct cleaning was done 7/10/2009. All installations are reviewed during a building inspection. Upon review, it was noted there was a problem with the installation, and we made the necessary repairs in order to comply with the building departments recommendations. The job has since passed the required inspection."
"During the inspection of the air conditioning system, it was noted on the service invoice that the system showed signs of being over charged with refrigerant. Our technician arrived at the residence at 8:27 am and was on site until 9:10 am. The customer was not charged for any services rendered, as the customer wanted to contact the installing service company."
