SIGN WIZARD

We ordered a sign from Bruce the owner of Sign Wizard in June of 2016 he told us "6 weeks" it took 6 months to get the sign. When the sign was delivered it was NOT as ordered or agreed to. We rejected the sign only to have him ignore us and install the sign anyway. This man lied more then a dozen times over the 6 month time frame. In the end we have a sign that we did not want or accepted. He refuses to correct the sign and now wants the balance of the money. I wish we had researched this company before doing business with him as there are complaints all over the Internet on him and his bad business. Stay as far away from this bad business as you can get!!!

We received quotes from several providers and initially, Sign Wizard was very responsive and came highly recommended.  We submitted our own artwork and the proof provided was approved via email.  We were asked to pay upfront, which we attempted to do via credit card but our "marketing dept" credit card was maxed out and declined for the amount.  When Sign Wizard called us back to let us know our card had been declined and they needed another form of payment, they added "because your card was declined, we are wary of the financial stability of your company and not sure we want to do the work."  
We apologized for the credit card issue and that day, paid the vendor by check.  We are a large Assisted Living Community in The Villages and do not have financial woes and as such, pay our vendors on time. The comment was snarky and unnecessary.
Before the job went to print, Sign Wizard called to speak to our graphic designer.  Our designer said that Sign Wizard needed clarification on the way the design worked on the front and back of the mini-van and needed a larger file delivered through dropbox.  He sent it along. 
The job was supposed to take 4 days, we tried to pick it up twice but when we arrived, the mini-van was not ready.  When we picked up the mini-van, there was a large purple stripe, clearly not in the proof and not in the approved design. The stripe runs 12 inches wide and all the way from the driver's side window to the running board.  It also runs through part of our logo. 
When we called to find out why the stripe was there, Rob at Sign Wizard said that the design sent to dropbox by our designer had the purple stripe and he "assumed it was a new design."  To understand where the error began, we opened up the dropbox design in Illustrator and the pdf and there was NOT A PURPLE stripe on the design but somehow in the translation at Sign Wizard, Rob and his team decided not to check with us on the different, glaring purple stripe that was clearly not inline with the original approved proof AND running through part of our logo (our design is very simple and does not have any purple in it).  
Now, they want to charge us to fix it.  We have been going back and forth on the issue without resolution.  We can't put a stop payment on the check and we can't dispute the charge because we didn't pay by card.  If you are going to use this company - beware. 
This issue is still unresolved and we have a $3000 mini-van wrap that is not correct.
