"The member, for starters, you do NOT own this house or pond. You are a paid EMPLOYEE caretaker for the owner and it is HIS house and NOT your home. Even the address listed with this website is your EMPLOYEE. Easily verifiable public record for Lake County also indicates that the residence in question is NOT owned by you but by the owner your EMPLOYER. You did not pay me anything nor did you sign a contract for any work to be done anywhere. $158.56 was paid for materials that were requested by you and delivered by my company to the the owners address. $50.00 given was for a light to be installed in living room and a water line in the back of refrigerator that was broken in the owner's absence; both tasks were completed to your satisfaction. Because you refused to sign paperwork or have the work completed I was forced to resort to contacting the owner's father since you are ONLY an employee and the owner was out of the country at the time. Upon inspection of the duck house and what you requested to be done, you were informed of the many problems of the duck house. YOU stated that the previous person who was hired for the duck house had caused all of these problems. Upon further investigation you admitted that the original person who worked on the duck house had put the house into the water and that your family members then retrieved the house and attempted to fix it themselves. You have started this entire thing to cover-up your gross mismanagement of the owner's home in a vain attempt to salvage your job. As to the construction aspects, any structure of that size the roof is completed in four parts. It is then joined together via 2x4 framing, plywood, felt paper, and one layer of roofing shingles. You can verify this with any competent builder. You were informed that the original construction was of one piece without the proper felt paper and plywood and with THREE layers of shingles. You stated that the way it was constructed was the correct way to do the job even after I informed you that it was incorrect. The ONLY person who became irate or used foul language during this entire fiasco was YOU. You have slandered me, my company, and tried to impede my business practices without any evidence or proof. I have a witness that was with me the entire time I was on the owner's property that can attest to the shabby quality of the existing construction of said duck house. Here is your clear warning, if you do not cease all slanderous behavior you will be answering for it in Lake County Courthouse because defamation and slander are against the law. I have witnesses and evidence and all you have are excuses and lies. It’s interesting to note, however, that when it comes to the Better Business Bureau of which I have been an “A+” company since 1989 there has been no report filed….why is that, oh I forgot you have to have evidence and they investigate and don’t automatically believe you. You have started this entire thing to cover-up your gross mismanagement of the owner's home in a vain attempt to salvage your job. By your own admission you are an employee and this is your 12 job in 4 years."
