AWESOME! Joe and Wes are great workers and do wonderful work. As long as they are in business I will not ever hire anyone else! Wanda, Joe's wife, is a sweetheart and always returns calls in a timely manner. Their family  business is a pleasure to deal with and they have turned our builder spec house into a home. Can't say enough good things about them and their work!! They are busy, so you may have to wait a little to get your project done (there's only 2 or 3 of them working, after all) but the wait is totally worth it!

They are really nice about making repeat visits for different projects, which is great because he gives us a quote and then we know how much to save up for the next project. Wanda works us in to his schedule as our budget allows :).

Note: We bought all of the tile and had it delivered prior to Joe coming to start the work. Cost  mentioned above doesn't include price of flooring.

Excellent - They came when they said, worked very hard, cleaned up as they went, repaired cracks in concrete, moved all furniture, put it all back.  Able to live in the house while work was done.  The whole crew was wonderful.

I called Joe and asked for a cost estimate based on the square footage.  Joe got back to me the next day with his estimate and told me when he could begin the job as well as how long he thought the project would take.  After accepting the bid, Joe and his crew began work on the agreed upon date and finished on day he committed to.  They did an excellent job removing the old flooring (carpet and tile) and installing the new tile (18 x 18" porcelain rectified tile).  The floor looks beautiful.  I couldn't be more pleased.  Joe is a very skilled professional who takes pride in his work and does a great job.  He is very friendly and will offer his advice when asked.  I would not hesitate to recommend Joe.

Joe and his crew were hired to do about 700 square feet of tile work in our new house. Setting up the job was trouble free and they arrived as scheduled and on time. They began working immediately and hammered out the job as planned and a full day ahead of schedule. Joe was great about keeping me informed of any issues that arose or any design issues that needed my input. The quality of the work was outstanding and Joe and his crew were very professional. In conclusion we are rating them with the highest marks. Thanks Joe and crew for the great job!

A most talented tradesmen,so professional in all they do. We were redoing our house and if the other people we engaged were half as good it would have been less stressful. Joe and Wes were probably one of the very best I have every worked with,and I have worked with quite a number of people.I am so glad we waited the 5 months . They remover everything when they were finished,and left their part in perfect condition

Probably the very best  tradesmen we as a family have ever engaged. Could not have got anyone better. They cleaned up every evening,went and picked up the tile and the wood we choose.I just wish we could get them to do all our redo .It would appear they are so talented anything they do they do to perfection. We feel so lucky to have meet them and would recommend them highly and if there was an A+++ I would give it to them

Joe McCoy was very detail oriented and did a perfect job of installing the tile in some very difficult areas that weren't at all square or level.   This is the second time I've hired him in the last two years and his work has been first class both times.  He is very thorough in cleaning up and ensuring his customer is satisfied with every aspect of his work.   He was recommended to me and I have recommended him to a number of friends and acquaintances. 

We had used Joe in the past and were very happy with the quality of work so even though we are in North Carolina, we called and asked if he would consider coming up from Florida to do tile in our new construction.  We were very pleased that he agreed to do the job.  This was a fairly large project and once again, he did a beautiful job.  Joe is great to work with.  I would highly recommend.

This company does work in both North Carolina and Florida. Be aware that some reviews are from another state and they are terrific so I THOUGHT that  they must be wonderful. Joe McCoy came to my house to look at the job. I had ALL the tile, grout, and sealant all there in my garage ready to start the job.They had a good price, a good reputation and could start me sooner than anyone else though I still would have a wait. So I agreed to the proposal and waited my turn while they did two other jobs ahead of mine. In the meantime, I contacted the other companies that had bid on the job to say I would not be needing to get on their schedule or hiring them. I felt a huge relief to be proceeding even if it meant a wait. I had done so much work purchasing and planning this project and felt confident in waiting for a company so highly regarded. They were to begin work on Mon. Sept. 23. Ten days before that, on FRIDAY AFTERNOON, I get an EMAIL from Wanda McCoy telling me that their customer in Tampa is "their priority" and that they had done work with them in the past and expected work from them in the future! The email said they could begin work on my bathroom at the end of November( 2 and 1/2 months later)!!!
I always thought there must be something wrong with customers who rate a company "F". I always thought the customers must be difficult to get along with or something, but after THIS experience, I can tell you my opinion on that has COMPLETELY changed.
I can understand if my job had been pushed out a couple of days due to delays on that current job but to be told that my job would be moved  another 2 and 1/2 months into the holiday season was not just a delay because of the current job. My JOB was being replaced by another BIGGER job. I was TOLD my job was not their priority. Then they said that I had changed and added work to my project so they couldn't do it when planned but emails prove otherwise.  I truly wish I could share the emails with anybody who would consider hiring them! They often did not respond after I still tried to salvage this back together. I must have been nuts but I was counting on them! It is a terrible inconvenience to take the time off to have work done only to be told, "sorry" like maybe they could dump me again during the holidays! As a nurse, it is just not possible to switch my schedule around on a whim. I have to request time off well in advance and I had better be to work when I am scheduled! And ,NO, nurses don't get time off during the holidays because we are already short staffed! The way things were with McCoy Tileworks, I could not count on them no matter what...so...
After accepting the fact that McCOY TILEWORKS had shoved me aside, I jumped back into high gear and hired another company who turned out to be fantastic.
McCOY TILEWORKS TREATED ME LIKE DIRT and I am so glad that I ended up with someone else.

These guys were great! Very fair in pricing, and super nice! They allowed me to purchase the tile, as I wanted, and they took care of the rest. I could not be happier with the results.

Joe was awesome to work with. He knows exactly what to do and doesn't skip out on anything. I am a pretty detailed person and joe made sure I was happy.

I called & in less than a week they were here. They did an awesome job. They were great - always on time, friendly, very good. I'm very pleased.

Our house had twenty year old tile in the shower and bath surround which was originally completed using green-board.  After completely removing all of the old and installing hardboard, we contacted McCoy Tileworks to install all new tile.  We used a combination of subway tile and glass mosaic tile. McCoy Tileworks arrived the afternoon we called and provided us with a free estimate.  The estimate was extremely fair for the work involved, so we hired them. Each day during the job, McCoy Tileworks arrived exactly when they said they would, and they cleaned up after themselves each day.  They did an awesome job, the finished product looks absolutely outstanding, and we plan to use them for another project.

WONDERFUL family business!! Father and son team did a great job.;I was so impressed, not just with the quality of their work, but also their prices and professional and friendly demeanor.
They treat their customers with total respect, even the smallest jobs get their full attention. We have asked them to come back and do a few more projects because we know we can count on them to give an honest and fair price. We can't afford to do all we want to all at once. They were completely nice about it and didn't make us feel like we were wasting their time.

Update- I've had Joe out to do several more things around the house . chair rails, picture frame molding and tons of wainscoting. He has consistently exceeded our expectations every time. He is an excellent craftsman. His attention to detail and honest prices really place him in the top of his field. I couldn't recommend him more. My coworker has hired him for a lot of work and has had the same experiences, nothing less than perfection.

The entire job went well.  No problems.

The bathroom looks awesome and so professionally completed.

Joseph came over to take the measurements in order to provide us with an estimate. About 5 days later we received an email with the estimate and the date when they could start. The estimate was competitive with another 3 estimates we had received. The reason we decided to go with McCoy Tileworks, was due to the numerous high ratings from Angie's List, and after we met Joseph we knew he was the right choice.
Joseph and Joe (Joseph's father-in-law) worked nonstop for three and a half days. They were extremely detail oriented, neat, professional and very pleasant. They did a absolutely beautiful job and we have received many compliments.

Everyone at McCoy Tile Works was a joy to work with, from Shannon in the office to Joe, Shawn and Wes who did the installation.  They were prompt to arrive every morning, cleaned up extremely well and they are masters in tile installation, my great room, office and bedroom all look superb!  In fact I am having them back to tile two more areas within the next week.
I am an exremely picky consumer and for me to give a company a A rating across the board just does not happen often.  I would recommend McCoy Tile Works to anyone have tile done, they do a super job, are extremely pleasant and very tidy!

The people were professional, timely and accurate in their work. Their pricing was more in line with what I expected to pay than other installers in my area. I would highly recommend them.

Great, they will be the company I call to do my bathrooms in the new future.  Very friendly, thoughtful, and excellent work. I sent them a email on the weekend, they called me the next day and sent someone out to give me a estimate.  We agreed to the work, they made another two visits to install the tile and grout it, all of this took place within 4 days. I cant imagine it going any better than it did.
