It took a little longer than we expected because of weather issues, but the old roof was removed, the alternations completed and finished up in about a day and a half.  The ceiling in substantially all of the second floor had been damaged by the April 29 flood waters, so they were replaced with special attention to tape and bedding joints and textures.  Some minor wall work was done
All the ceilings were repainted and the walls were "feathered" so that there is no distinction between old and new paint.
Significant attention was given to recovering nails in the lawn and flowers beds to the extent that they went over them three different times.
The owner and his representatives were a pleasure to deal with.

In short. Very long delays in communication, 1 week at times. Said only had 3 things left and when I got to the rental home from Texas, I had a list of 18 that the company said was inspected to satisfaction. Missing texture, sheetrock mud in several outlets, uneven mudding causing 1/2 of the outlet covers to not fit. Sheetrockers also drywalled over 2 access points in wall. When we showed up there was also the beer bottles on the floor and brandy in my freezer. In the end everything was done to our satisfaction but it took a lot of hounding and some additional work on our part to fix their mistakes. I was told that it was difficult to have them come over because they were fixing up 50 properties.

ponderosa gave an original bid of 13000.00for a 9x12 kitchen addition....over a period of about 8 mos. with performance money the price was raised to 17000.00 and the job was incomplete...I saw that ponderosa was using the job to make extra money over and above the estimateso I told ponderosa to quit the job and I would finish it myself which I did for about 2000.00....ponderosa then sends me a bill for 3000.00 for work completed...I told ponderosa I didn't see where the work was done and I would not pay...ponderosa then places a lein on my property for 3000.00...I have not paid the 3000.00 and the lein stands till next august...I would not use ponderosa again...john fabacher

They did an excellent job on the drywall, finishing the walls, replacing cabinets, and replacing doors & molding.  They were attentive, and were helpful in dealing with our insurance reps and mortgage company.  Our repairs were completed months before our neighbors.

Jason was very up-front about the disruptions we could expect.  As one might imagine,the nature of the work took some time; and we missed a few conveniences for a while.  He was careful to separate the cost of work done under the insurance company's coverage and the additional elective work that we had done.  After we described what we wanted to do, he provided a separate estimate for our portion of the work.
The job started on time, and both the Ponderosa employees and the subcontractors were punctual, careful, considerate, friendly, and professional (both in quality and communication).  They did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day, which was appreciated.  As work progressed to the point that the countertops and bottom cabinets would have to be removed, they constructed a stand for our existing cooktop and our existing sink so that we could continue to cook and at least do a few kitchen tasks in the kitchen.  We ended up with only about 5 days without a cooktop and sink.  Thankfully, I can cook a good meal on the grill!
The repairs and remodeling was accomplished in less than six weeks from first look to to the final inspection.  The initial time estimate was around six weeks.  The quality of workmanship was very good, and the change in both the appearance and function of the kitchen has been dramatic.  We are very pleased.

They were very professional, and did very good work. I was very happy with their service.

Everything went very well, and I was quite pleased with everything and the people who did the work.

Jason, the person who oversaw the job was very responsive and professional. I felt like I had a new friend by the thime we were finished.

They were to put on a new roof on the regular part and on the flat roof that caved in and it has been 5 years and it is still not done. All this was in the contract to have them take off the tar and stones and replace it all and if the timber needed replacing that would be done as well. Well on the flat roof the just built around the old part and none of it even lined up correctly you could see nails sticking out. When the inspector came out he failed them and then they got some big wig architect out who ended up writing some big ole long letter so that after  5 times the county finally passed it. But it is still not done right. I have not paid them the other $5000 and I don't intend to although they were going to try and sue me but their lawyer told them it wasn't going to fly. They are horrible I would never have them here again.

They showed up when they said they would. They were upfront about everything. The guys were courteous and they cleaned up after themselves. They were good to deal with. The price was fine. I would use them again.

I've been very pleased with them.  They are very pleasant and easy to work with.  There were some little delays, but it was mostly weather related.  The work looks nice and I'm not unhappy at all.
