"I greatly appreciate all the business my compnay has been blessed with from all referrals we receive. My reply to this reveiw is to provide more information concerning the statements in the provided review. The client wanted 1/8" grout joints with rectified porcelain tile and I highly suggested to go with 3/16" which is standard when installing this type of tile. Due to fact the tile is not true flat tile compared to a natural stone. The decision to use 1/8" spacers was based from what the sales rep said. I confronted the sales rep about the grout joint width and they boldly lied to me about what he told the customer who they sold the tile to, I passed the info to the customer which was different than what they were sold. Concerning grout, the sales rep tried to sale the use of bag grout and I opted to use Fusion Pro which is far superior hands down, no comparison. The original grout color picked had a yellow tint to it and clashed with the tile. I brought to the client's attention my concern with the color. Concerning the grey color grout, the grout is not grey it is holding dirt on top of the grout from sticking to the cleaners being used. I brought the grout rep to the job and inspected the grout, I removed the dirt off the top of grout and the color was perfect, not stained. I also provided all the info on cleaning the grout (what to do and not to do) I always try to provide the best recommendations from my experience for the overall long term satisfaction for all projects."
It is not easy for me to envision a project as it unfolds so Jason would periodically send us pictures as it was ongoing. We were frequently on the phone or emailing one another. He always responded very promptly. One matter that neither of us anticipated was the requirement in the City of Destin for further fireproofing in older structures and that added another $2500 to the work but Jason handled it and all the paperwork professionally.
The bottom line is that we received exactly what we wanted, in a timely manner from an very professional contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend Jason Carducci or use him again for remodeling or contracting work. He knows his stuff and bends over backwards to please the people he works for. He is trustworthy to the point that we left our cond key with him in case something needs to be dealt with on an emergency basis and we are hundreds of miles away. He won't disappoint!
His team was prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend.
