Hello, One of you're members JJP Roofing Inc. recently completed my roof 2/2020, at 929 Holbrook Cir. FL. It is now 9/2020, and there is many roof leaks on my ceiling. JJP Roofing claims since was not the contract signer of his warranty that my roof is not covered. See attached contract to see there are no warrant restrictive provisions. NRCA: " Warranty documents often contain restrictive provisions that significantly limit the warrantor’s liability and consumer’s remedies in the event that problems develop. The warranty document may also contain other restrictions and limitations, such as a prohibition against assignment or transfer of the warranty, exclusion of damages resulting from a defective roof system and monetary limitations." Communication was very poor. We sighed the contract the end of April and they did not get to our roof till July. They did not tell us until after we sighed that they would not be able to get to our roof for 6 to 8 weeks. About 8 weeks later had to call and was told they could not get to us for another 2 to 3 weeks due to weather. I understand that weather delayed them but they could have called to let us know. called about 3 weeks later and was told the guy was not there due to a family emergency., which again I understand but no one else in that office was able to tell me when they would be able to get to my roof. The following week my husband calls them on Thursday and was told that they do not even have us on the list, so he tells them we have to discuss what we want to do. They call back and tell us they can get to us that weekend. Wish we just said to give us our deposit back, because they had about 3 different groups of people working on the roof, two of the guys decided they were going to use the bathroom on the side my house and my neighbors house (they just assumed we were not home and did not bother knocking on the door to see). once they were completely finished with the roof we saw nails in obvious places and large pieces of the old roof in our yard. the roof and chimney were done well for the most point the only thing about that was it looks like they used a different color of shingles then what we asked for

We had a great experience.  The owner, Julian Puga, arrived as scheduled to give me an estimate, which was the lowest of the three that I received.  Julian also agreed to have his crew address a few additional minor issues on other parts of the roof for no additional charge.  The work was completed over a day and a half, within a short period after the estimate.  The crew was very professional and picked up all debris, tools, etc. after each day.  I would highly recommend JJP Roofing and would certainly use them again.

They did a great job as far as construction practices is concerned. Everybody worked really hard, and professionally. The crew was very respectful of homeowner and pleasantly polite. They did not smoke, did not yell at each other, or play the radio loud ( in fact they didn't have a radio at all). Carpentry work was precise, shingling work looks very even, systematic, and well done. It was a big job and lasted over a week. There was some roof debris left around - that was the only weak point - but I'm sure that if we had pressed the point, they would've been back to clean up a little bit more. The landscaping was a bit rough due to the house having been vacant & that may have contributed to the issue. All together, I think they are an honest company with a good work ethic. Their bid was within $500 of a more competitive company, which for the size of the job is pretty close. Well done!

I called JJP roofing on day one. On day two Julian came by the house, looked over the questionable area on my roof, and did a repair. It rained that night and I had no further leaking. I so appreciate him coming out and doing the repair! I'll call him first when I need roof work!

Did a great job, Had several workers working on the roof and quickly and efficiently completed the roof. Cleaned up well. When I needed service on another house later, he came out immediately and did the small job.

Working with Julian and his crew was an excellent experience. The offer to work included clear, written specifics about the work to be done with easy to understand explainations of the work to be done, including the opportunity to make choices about "best practices" with alternative "second best" less costly alternative. This included pictures and "lay level" discussions that allowed us to make informed choices and understand what to expect during the installation. His crew was efficient and courteous, doing an excellent job of clearn-up both during the process and at the end. Work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and an independent inspection following the install deemed the work consistent with wind mitigation requirements. Only a couple of small items required better communication but these were met with professionalism and speed when discussed with the contractor. We have had heavy rains since and plenty of wind with no unhappy surprises.
