The service was fine. It took him about an hour to finish the job. He cleaned up well. We had no complaints. I would say he was dependable, did a good job and we enjoyed working with him.

Bob got here a few minutes early and went right to work. He is a quiet, get the job done kind of guy. Unclogged the tub drain - had over a foot of inch thick hair and gunk. He showed it to me, and then cleaned up the area. Fixed the drain stoppers in no time. He was done in about half an hour. Quick, professional, job well done.

We were very pleased. He was on time, fixed the drain stopper, and charged us fairly.

Overall not impressed. He initially said he would arrive b/t 0730 and 0800 but did not show until close to 0900.
We initially planned to get a water filter hooked up as well, but he took one look at it and said that without step-by-step instructions he would not do it. He also asked us to help identify pipes / water lines under the kitchen sink... if we had all of the answers we would not have needed his services in the first place.
He completed the work methodically but slowly - the quality of the work he did complete was good and the sink looks great.
Overall he seemed to need more direction / inputs than other plumbers I have worked with.
He also subtly scolded my wife for not reading the Bible more - this was a bit out of line coming from a complete stranger.

Bob came out to the house, and we discovered there was already a gas hookup in the room in question. I apologized for wasting his time, and then he informed me that he was billing me for his time from when he left his office (45 minutes prior). Since he was already on site, I asked him to check the pressure on a separate gas line that wasn't working. This ultimately required an additional 45 minutes, as he had to assemble a tool that fit the gas line from parts on his truck in order to hook up a bicycle pump to the line in order to test the pressure. If he had the correct tool, the actual test was 10 minutes max. He also informed me that the Angie's List coupon for an $85 dollar "free first service" wasn't applicable because I was "out of the area", in spite of no disclaimers of any kind on the coupon, or any warning about this when I spoke with him on the phone. He gave me a bill for $127, which I paid. I thought it was excessive for the work performed, and that the least he could have done was to deduct the $85 for the coupon. I deal fairly with people, and expect them to deal fairly with me. My feeling is that if Bob is going to bill for travel time, he should tell you. Why would you use him outside of Fort Walton Beach proper? I would not use him in Niceville, Destin, or Bluewater Bay, as your bill when he arrives is already going to be $45. Also, if you're planning on using his coupon, ask him about it first -- he didn't honor it for me.

I told Mr. Baggette that I considered him the good fairy of plumbing. Not too long ago, we ran into a contractor (not, alas, on Angie's list) who made our lives so miserable that I was truly reluctant to call someone to fix a leaking toilet. But we live in a house built in the mid 1960's, and the bathrooms were original to the house, so we knew we couldn't igore the problem. In checking Angie's list, I noticed that Mr. Bagette had high marks. He deserves them! He showed up as scheduled, did everything that was required, offered to repair a few issues that he had noticed needed fixing (all in a low key manner, leaving it up to us to decide), and worked diligently to get every thing done in a timely manner.

The water pipe in the laundry room was making a gurgling noise, thought i might have a busted drain pipe. Bob came out and we found it was actually the septic tank drain is clogged and the tank was full. He helped locate drain pipe as well as water shut off valve which was buried in front yard. Also fixed leaky water spigot in front yard. Check both toilet while he was hear just to make sure they were not leaking water. I was impressed, would definitely recommend him to anyone and would call him in the future for any plumbing problems.

I called yesterday, they returned call this morning to say what time they would be here. Came at promised time. He read the material that came with the dishwasher; told me how to use it; was pleasant and congenial; he installed the dishwasher and tested it to verify it was working correctly; he presented the bill which I thought was very reasonable, esp. compared with another company who wanted to charge $40 more for the same service.
