Total scammers. They redid our screen enclosure a while back and never replaced the screws they put into the quote. When I had someone redo their work, they said there is no way those screws were replaced as they were completely rotted through. They could not even find their own invoice as they had an IT "incident" years back and lost all of their data! I tried to reach the owner multiple times after his staff was less than helpful, but never received a call or email. Terrible work and liars!

From A to Z, this went perfectly. I called for an estimate and set up an appointment. The owner came out and addressed all my questions, took measurements and provided a very reasonable estimate. I was told that the turn around from signing the contract to installation would be about 3 weeks due to their current workload. It took me about a month to decide, but when I finally reached out the the office and signed the paperwork and paid the deposit, I had my new screening in just under 3 weeks. I could not be happier with this entire process. The owner, the office manager, and the two installers were each professional, friendly, and efficient. The installation appointment was set for a Monday between 9 and 10. They showed up promptly at 9AM and worked for almost 12 hours straight and the job they did was flawless. They also somehow managed to thoroughly clean up in the dark and finish the day in good humor. I also want to note that they redid the entire screening on the back patio (including the doors) with the strongest "animal proof" screen, which so far has stood up to clawing and probing by my cats and dogs. They also redid a small screened enclosure and door in the front of the house.

We had our initial installation of a screened area on our back porch that leads out to our pool and our front entry to our home. The doors on the back patio were broken and inoperable within weeks. They came back and told us they needed to be greased. After a few days they were in the same condition but also the part that eases the door closed was also broken. After three visits we asked them to upgrade the doors (2) at a cost of an additional $1,100 to us. We waited another three weeks for the team to show up today and ruin some of the other parts of the back porch, including the fact that the replacement doors were ordered wrong. They had a bad day we were told. They dumped parts into our 6 lb dogs pen that is adjacent to the work area and we were told that the metal shards, rubber silicone and screw were not something that would harm our dogs. That is absurd. Metal shards left all over the interior of our patio and on the outside of the room where we walk to go into our pool. One excuse after another for the horrible experience we had today. We still don't have functioning doors, requested another team to make this right and when "Rob" gave us a hard time my husband said", we will take you to court to finish this job correctly and Rob's response was--you don't have a contract. Is this who you want to do business with?

Met with Ray from Sales 6/17/15 and sent deposit on 7/1/15.  The process for getting the permit was to begin after deposit was received so when we moved down the end of July building could begin.  On 8/4 I spoke with the office and they could not find my contract.  What?  I had to send a copy of the document I had to them and then Ray arrived at our home again to provide us with the documents yet again and apologized for dropping the ball.  On 8/10 the plans were drawn and revised on 9/4.  Then we waited several weeks for permits which was approved on 9/16.  Since our development has a irrigation system it was important to make sure the system was moved before concrete was laid.  I received an email that I would have to wait on a schedule for that.  So again another hold up.  On 10/1 we had the termite inspection completed so digging could begin and the concrete laid. The concrete team completed their project and then it was another waiting process for approximately 10 days.  Since it was supposed to take 3 days to build the porch I requested a date of completion for for 10/16 since I had family visiting for the first time.  I was told that was impossible and it would be completed by 10/23.  They are supposed to begin the 21st and never arrived and did not receive a call (I had to contact them).  They worked the the 22nd and 23rd and the crew said that would be back on saturday the 24th to finish the project.  The framing and roof was up and the crew was supposed to finish up that day.  Again, I received no call and they did not arrive.  When I called on Monday they said that someone called in sick and didn't make anyone aware of it (Really?).  However, I did receive my invoice on 10/21 via email.   So it gets completed and the owner shows up looking for payment before the crew even cleaned up.  I was not paying until we received approval from the County.  The County arrived on 10/30 and did to approve.  While my family was here visiting and I was not home the owner showed up at our back door looking for a check.  The entire staff at The Porch Factory was aware that my husband had suffered a stroke and has difficulty walking etc.  The owner remained at the back door until my husband had to get up from his lift chair and head to the back door with his cane just to inform this guy that he does not handle the finances.  An hour later I arrived home with my family and by the time I got the garage door closed, this guy was in front of our home ringing the door bell.  Here is the thing, we live on a cul de sac which means the way he parked in front of our home meant that he had to be somewhere down the road waiting. Unbelievable.  I told him there would be no payment until it was completely approved.  On11/20 the revisions were made (they just showed up no phone call or scheduled time).  When we returned the furniture had all been moved and not replaced and there were shavings all over the porch.  On 11/24 the County approved.  4 months later we had our screen porch.
I have read at the bottom of emails:   Thank you for choosing The Porch Factory! Our customers are our most valuable asset and we want to let you know that we truly value your business.  I saw more action obtaining payment then I did completing the work.
Response from THE PORCH FACTORY
"I have to apologize to [Member Name Removed] for the bad experience with our company...... We do try extremely hard to provide the best possible service, humanly possible. Unfortunately some items are out of our control with the aspect to timing, we do explain the process is 10-12 weeks with no delays. We found ourselves with many projects behind on our time frame during the late summer and fall due to the massive amount of rain delays we had each week. Our Guys worked through the rain on her job on at least 1 occasion trying to finish up. We Internally have made some changes to our policy when starting jobs we will no longer take contracts without all the proper paperwork and payments to ensure the proper stating of the job happens in accordance with the customer expectations."

.Great!  We had one technician here for 2 days to perform the work.  He made sure to ask us where we wanted the doors placed.  He arrived between 8:30 and 9am each day, and worked until about 5pm.  He cleaned up his work materials every day, everything was clean and neat when he finished.  The enclosure is beautiful, now we can enjoy the outdorrs insect-free in our screen enclosure.

We chose the rescreen since the estimate was very reasonable for the area involved. The crew was very professional and friendly and did an excellent job. All the screens are straight and snug. The workers also added new screws where needed and cleaned up after themselves. They made sure the structure was secure and their work was done correctly.

I got the quote in early December and made my deposit at that time. The permit came through rather quickly (WOW) and the job started within 6 weeks of my first contact. The workers who came out did a great job and their craftsmanship was excellent. I cannot say enough positive things about this company, from Ray, the salesman who gave me my quote, to the office support staff who helped me make last minute changes to the craftsmen who came out to build the actual room. Many kudos to a fine company - who do exactly what they say they will do. Many many thanks!!!

Waited about a month for work to begin, in fairness it was the busy porch season. Everyone from estimate to finish and ndash; inspections were polite, on time and professional. Great job. Very pleased.

EVERYTHING was TOP NOTCH. From start to finish everything was fantastic. They delivered ahead of schedule and the work was excellent! Our enclosure had a few unique challenges based on the layout of the pool and house but The Porch Factory solved them all and made the outcome look better than we could have hoped. WE would recommend them to anyone! Great experience from start to finish.

They just left about an hour ago and they did a satisfactory job. They were right on time and completed the job, so they do what they say they are going to do. I am pleased and I would recommend them. They do a pretty good job and I have used them in the past, so it was okay for me to call them again. I never really compared prices.
