Excellent price for this service. About $31 to have chip repaired at their shop, about $59 to have a mobile unit do the repair at customer's location. I was unwilling to file an insurance claim, so I wanted a good price. Every chip is unique, so it's hard to judge whether it was a good repair or not. The chip had a small crack extending out from it, which is still somewhat visible. Also, there is an small optic distortion that distorts the view in that spot of the windshield. Fortunately my chip was not located directly in the driver's line of sight so it's not too annoying. In cases where the chip is in the driver's line of sight, it cannot be repaired, and the windshield must be replaced. In comparison, I had a larger chip on a previous vehicle repaired by another company several years ago. That chip was still very visible after repair, but the cracks didn't spread. I don't remember any optic distortion after that repair, but again, every chip is unique. (I didn't use the other company this time because they now charge $99 for chip repair.)

I called him and he came to check for problems. He is very pleasant to deal with and he continuously calls to see if everything is OK. This is very much appreciated and I will tell everyone about him.
