Josh (JDL Home Inspections) did a home inspection of a condo I was under contract to buy. He rated the Shower as "Satisfactory". I closed on the property. Three days after taking possession, the shower pan broke through. Upon examination of the area, there were irregularities that should have indicated a closer look was needed. I got estimates from several contractors to do the repair. They all said the pan, drain and tile had to be replaced. The lowest bid was $6,000+. All 3 contractors stated that my home inspector should have caught the problem. If JDL had reported the issue, I could have gone back to the seller to renegotiate or cancel my deal since it was within the inspection period. I have approached Josh by various methods including certified letter and via the Better Business Bureau. He ignores everything even though he initially said we could "go the insurance route." I'm out over $6,000 because of this company.

He was able to perform the work a day early which was great for us. I would recommend him to a friend. I was thoroughly impressed, he followed up and did what he said with the paperwork that we needed.

If youâ re looking for 5 star customer service and genuine skill and knowledge, this is the place. Josh, the owner, performed a thorough inspection and submitted a detailed report, including specific areas I was concerned about. But I was stunned when he called me hours after he completed his work. He had returned to the property because it was raining, and he wanted to see and report on how the roof and pool deck handled the downpour. It just doesnâ t get any better!

I was extremely happy with Josh and his services. I had a wind mitigation done. He was very thorough and took several pictures for my Home Policy provider so I could get my home owners discount. He answered all of my questions and didn't try to rush me. My report was emailed to me the same day. I will recommend Josh to everyone. Thank you Josh!!!

Josh did a 4 point and general inspection for a home my wife and I purchased. He was not only extremely professional but presented himself as trustworthy and was very thorough. His background and experience really helped him explain everything he found. After the inspection was over and the process was complete he was still willing to answer any questions we had and was even willing to retake some photos for us so they would be of a better quality or from a better angle.
