This company was recommended to us, and we are so glad! Their estimate was lower than the other 3 companies we had quote the job. Their service was excellent. We couldn't be happier with the results. They stayed true to their quote - even after having to replace some of the tile in the bathroom window (because the impact windows were thicker than our old windows.) They even exactly matched the tile we have - no small feat in a home that is 30 years old. They were on time for every appointment - and the windows were installed within the time period they estimated. Every member of their staff that we came into contact with was professional, knew their business and were so very courteous. The entire experience was a breeze - they took care of everything. What a pleasant experience! They took care of all permits, took away the old windows, cleaned up after the job - you couldn't even tell they had been here. If there was a rating available higher than "excellent" I would have chosen that! We would recommend them to anyone that is thinking of having work done on their home. We will definitely use them again if the opportunity arises.

So far so good. They just started work today due to a delay from the county on the building permit. Concrete forms done today, county inspection on 6/20 and block work scheduled for Monday 6/23.........will update progress as needed

I would recommend them highly. They did great work. Everything is good with them. They answer your calls on time. If you have other question they answer you on a timely manner. The co-owner of the company actually came to my house, did the quote, drew everything up. He emailed me, he keeps me updated. They gave us a price, they did the work to our satisfaction. they might have been a little bit more money than a couple of other quotes. He worked with me to get the price down to where it was comfortable with us. That's why we went with them too.

This is my second purchase from East Coast Aluminum. The first occurred three years ago when I had to replace a larger bay window on the rear of the mobile unit. I had searched many potential providers and settled on East Coast Aluminum and I could not be more pleased. On each occasion, the work was done on time as promised and the workmanship was perfect. I did not bother to shop pricing with other companies because East Coast pricing was more than fair and the service was eceptional.
East Coast Aluminum is a family run operation which takes great pride in its work and reputation. I was impressed with the Quotation Proposal which outlined all the possible options in terms of glass - clear, gray tint, clear insulated and gray insulated - along with the differences in cost. All windows included screens with the pricing.
Even though this company specializes in various home improvement projects which obviously have a higher price tag than my windows, I was treated with the same concern and respect as those making those much larger purchases. There was no pressure to purchase any upgrades or higher priced repairs. In fact, the first of a larger bay window came with additional exterior window supports which no other company mentioned and if I brought it up with other potential businesses then there was an additional charge.
East Coast Aluminum is an excellent company to do business with and I not only highly recommend them but I will continue to deal with them whenever I have needs without consulting any other providers!

The awnings were not installed correctly so all awnings could be lowered at the same time during a hurricane. Their customer service is greatly lacking in respect and do not seem to care about customer service. As a woman, they tried to intimidate me and didn't like the response they got. When there is a problem, they avoid making appointments so you can arrange for someone to be there when they arrive. This bothered me as there are already holes in my house from the original instalation and I did not want new holes drilled into my house without being informed of the solution to the existing problem. So far, I have no solution as their personel left without talking talking to my husband, who was just 15 minutes away when they called and said they would be here. The owner is blaming my bay window for the problem, saying there is not enough room allowed for the poles connected to the awing. I don't see how this is the problem as there are other homes exactly like mine that don't seem to have this problem. I would not use this company again nor recommend them to anyone because if you have a probelm, you are on your own!

"This was perhaps the rudest customer we've had in the 40+ years we've been in business. We installed her aluminum awnings in a timely manner. She had no complaints at the time of the installation. It was approximately 10 months after the awnings were installed that we received a call from the customer. The call came in during the weekend when we were out of the office, and Member left a message on our voice mail. She spoke in a belligerent manner, and demanded that we fix her awnings that, according to her, were installed incorrectly. When we received the message on Monday morning, we called Member, and let her know we had someone who was going to be in the area who would stop by that day to inspect the awnings to determine if there was a problem. When our installer arrived later that day, Member did not answer the door. Instead, she called our office and complained because she hadn't been given a specific time the installer would be there, and her husband was not at home. Without even getting out of his truck, our installer immediately noticed that someone had tried to close the awnings incorrectly. Because he could hear the woman screaming from inside her home, he did not stay. When Member called the office, her tone of voice was loud and angry. After a brief conversation with our office manager, she spoke with our owner and proceeded to verbally assault him, even though he remained calm and respectful. After listening to her rage, Matt agreed to discuss the matter with her husband. Matt called Memberthe same day and arranged for the installer to meet him at their house the next day. Our installer met Member the next day, and showed him how to open and close the awnings to his satisfaction. Member was very nice and acknowledged that there was not a problem with the awnings, nor was there a problem with the installation. This was the last contact we had with the customers. Being in business for over 40 years, we realize the importance of good customer relations, and we strive to please everyone we do business with. However, that isn't always possible. This is an example of one of those situations where -- no matter how hard you try -- you just can't satisfy the customer. Please read the other reviews for our company; check us out with the Better Business Bureau, and you will see that we have an excellent reputation. Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers."

We received several bids for windows and a carport. Based on past customer references and price competitiveness, we signed a contract mid December. The window work was done as soon the material arrived first part of January. The installer was professional and installed the 9 windows in 2 days. The quality of the windows are excellent and look great.
The carport took a while longer because of the time needed to approve a variance and a permit from the county. As soon as it was approved, the work was scheduled.
East Coast quickly handled the variance and permit, making several trips to the county office and to our house to get signatures.
The installation took 4 days. The 2 man crew were experts and did a very nice job.
We are very pleased with the work . We have received many comments on how nice the new windows and carport look from neighbors in our community.
We would recommend this company to others and will use them again for future projects.

When installing, they did have to do some work with the support systems for this window. Compared to the other estimates I had received, this company was very friendly by phone, responsive and was up front with what they could and could not do. Their prices were reasonable considering the repair work needed and they did an excellent job.
