West Coast Plumbing And Water Treatment LLC

We purchased our home in March of 2016 & West Coast was the current provider for the R/O system, so we continued to use them. It wasn't long before we started having problems. It started with a busted pipe   that we had to call for an after hours service call to repair to have water. This was a result of the membrane that was completely shot, of which the replacement was included in our monthly service. We requested this be repaired, but the company wanted to replace several other things along with it & we kindly asked for this to just be replaced (the items they were trying to add on had nothing to do with the functionality of the membrane). They then raised the monthly $10 a month,  which we continued to pay while waiting for them to replace the membrane. Then we had another item bust. We called them for repair and they tried to charge double what they were supposed to, as a monthly customer you were not supposed to get charged a premium for an after hours service call. Water went out again, we called for repair. This time it was a lizard in an electrical box that the tech simply removed and left after 5 minutes & they still charged us for the after hour service call. All the while still never replacing the membrane that was included in our monthly bill. My fiance called several times asking for to speak with the owner as the manager is useless, and never received a call back. I also called and discussed our issues each time I called to pay the monthly bill, even though we were disputing the service charges. They then called 3 weeks ago and said they were terminating our service due to the unpaid service calls. No call from owner, no courtesy or customer service, nothing. We came back from our honeymoon 2 weeks later to find our pipe busted again, called another reputable company to come out.  They confirmed pipe busted again on account of the shot membrane, and used the term "ghetto rigged" regarding the previous pipe repair done by West Coast. So, the negligence of West Coast no replacing the membrane as specified as an inclusion in our monthly service, which we never stopped paying in light of the other over charged disputes, resulted in $137 to properly repair the pipe and $750 to replace the membrane that they were ultimately responsible to replace months ago. I would steer clear away from this company. They have affirmed that they have "cut ties" with us and that they don't care if we file a complaint as they are not a member of the BBB.

The location of the break was quickly identified and and estimate was provided for repair prior to leaving.

Called West Coast Plumbing  at 8:00pm and they wanted to know if this was an emergency, we said no and they asked if next day service was okay. I said sure.
The next day Duane was at my door. He brought with him a Moen cartridge to repair my shower faucet and it worked great. He was professional and any questions I asked he answered. Thank you Duane for a clean job done quickly, it was much appreciated.

The experience with them was great. They were professional, prompt and courteous.
