Limb fell, He arrived within an hour, came next day. He started cutting limb, had to wait for LIPA to come and cut around electric line. Came back next day and finished job.

I contacted the owner who lives two blocks away. He gave me a quote of $175. Approximately a year and a half went by and I contacted the owner again. He charged me over $700 and told me that he only accepted CASH. I found his old card and told him about the discrepancy in pricing. He then offered to do two free sprayings for me (value $150). I thanked him but told him that once I had been taken, that was it for me. I wanted nothing more to do with him or his company. Now as to the actual job: He removed one huge limb from the tree. The tree had ivy growing up and around it and he suggested that it be removed (which I did the next week by myself). I questioned whether he was going to seal the area where he took off the limb and I was told it wasn't necessary. I did it myself when I took down the ivy. I would not recommend this company.

TROPICAL STATE DID A GREAT JOB ON THE PRUNING OF MY TREE BUT THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE SIX TO EIGHT MONTHS TO KNOW IF THE INSECTICIDE WORKED. I THOUGHT THEY WERE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT OTHER THAN THAT THEY WERE GOOD.
