People get so impatient. This is a busy excellent fence company. ( Supplies coming in, they have no control over). Workers effficient and clean up. PERMITS in FM a nightmare.

Even though there was a couple of week delay with the delivery of materials; the install crew did an excellent job installing the fence and the gates. The pups were extremely happy with their new, fenced yard.

This was in 2014....Responded quickly for a quote request. Called a week later and accepted the bid, they came by and picked up a deposit right away. Didn't hear from them for a few weeks, called and was told they were waiting on permitting. Called two weeks later, they couldn't find my file...turns out the permit had been requested the day after I called... So they finally come out a couple of months late, proceed to drop fence poles thorough two of my main sprinkler lines.. They could not have possibly missed cutting through a 2 1/2 inch line, never said a word... Grabbed their final payment and scampered out of there...As I travel for business, I come home later to a brown yard and two washed out holes in my yard. And because the sprinklers had been allowed to run, the entire rear yard zones were completely filled with rocks and sand. I spent $250 dollars repairing the sprinkler system. I called and left a message regarding my issue, requested a call back and even said I knew they wouldn't compensate me for sprinkler damage, but i wanted to let them know they should tell the homeowner so the repair can be made while still small... Never heard from them again... Will never, never use Tropical, recommend them, and will advise all that will listen to avoid them at all caosts

They were the worst (of 5) to respond to our request through Angie's List. We made our initial request for a quote in May they provided a quote in July.  If not for the high rating at the time on this web page we would have bailed.  They repeatedly failed to respond to our calls and emails.  When they finally scheduled us in September they showed up two days later than we were told, although they claimed to email us at addresses we told them we no longer were valid repeatedly...repeatedly.  Once they eventually installed the fence it was adequate.  This was absolutely not worth the continuous communication, stress and appointment hassles.  This was the worst contractor experience I have had in 30 plus years of home owner experience. The result of this experience will cause us to no longer rely on the reviews on Angie's List for ANYTHING!!!

Tropical Fence Co gave us a quote that was reasonable and competitive. They've done other work for us in the past. The quality of their work is good. The prices of the estimates I got for the work they'll be doing were all about the same, but I had the most confidence in Tropical Fence, so I gave them the job. They were very responsive. I asked her a lot of questions and she was great in answering them.

We were fenced on two sides by neighbors so we decided we finally wanted a fenced in yard completely for our dog and cat. Connie, who came to do the estimate was wonderful and we really liked her best after talking to a few other companies. The initial back and forth communication was just a little bit slower than we would have liked but it turned out fine. They do craft their own fences and the quality is very good! . Overall, I have to say that we really loved Billy and the other worker who did the job they were hard-working and very nice. The fence looks great and the job was finished when we told them it needed to be due to some other plans. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality fence for their yard.

They were a little more expensive than the competition but a higher quality product and do everything themselves, rather than sub it out. They installed 6 foot chain link fence around the sides and back of our 3 acres and a 6 foot ornamental fence with double arching automated driveway gate in the front with key pad. Everything is top of line and the job went very smoothly. They were always on time and very professional.

It has been a long time but they did a good job though. It's still in good shape. They were quick, had a good price, and did a good job.
