Tri-Town Construction LLC

This company was hired by our Condo Association to handle the remediation and build back of our units due to the flooding caused by Ian. They did come and help some of the owners on remediation, but not others. They did not help us in any way until they came on October 19 when they sent a crew to tear out the drywall. The crew they sent was inexperienced and unsupervised. Then, Tri-Town billed us $14,372.43 for doing the remediation. They did not do any remediation. They billed for work they did not do and they were fully aware they were fraudulently billing. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

The inside room when great and Jay was great too !! But the roof when in a different way , they did a great job on my roof too , but they spilt tar on my house wall , on my storm shutter , on my tree & brushes. they didn't clean it up into like 2 months after they damage my home , The painters got the tar off my home and now tri town refuse to pay $350 to clean the tar off my shutter & repaint it !!! the roof foreman,John is a liar !!! if they workers did the damage, theyworkers was horsing around up on the roof ,that how the tar spilt on my home !!! they charge me $35,000 for the roof job and they can't pay $350 to clean my storm shutter !!! if you do hire this company ,watch them on the whole job !! one more thing ,they block my driveway ,so i couldn't use my driveway into the roof was done !!!

I already posted a review on this and other sites. After I filed a complaint with the BBB, I was threatened by Kevin Smith of TriTown. He threatened to go to code enforcement with bogus engineering reports if I did not withdraw the complaint. Since all work was done in compliance with all applicable codes I have nothing to worry about. Of course, I kept all texts and emails to verify. Do not hire Tri-Town, they are con artists.

I hired TriTown to do major repairs post IRMA on a rental property I own in Bonita Springs. They did the tear out but would not cooperate with my insurance carrier, costing me thousands of dollars in reimbursements. This, after repeated calls to them by myself and the insurance adjuster. I paid them over $14000 for work performed but they would not supply my insurance carrier appropriate records. I wound up hiring another contractor to do the actual restoration.

The subcontractors were, for the most part, very poor. More importantly, Marc Devisse, the owner of the company, did not stand behind the work at all. As an example, when two errors were made during the construction process, we were given a choice of which one we wished to have fixed (rather than fixing both mistakes). In addition, hardwood flooring which was installed began to warp very soon following installation. This was found to be due to lack of moisture barrier over the cement surface where the hardwood was installed. Mr. Devisse declined to provide any remedy whatsoever. I would advise that anyone doing home repair/remodel work find a more reputable service provider than Marc Devisse/Tri-Town Construction.

All punch outs were finished on total renovation of our condominium.
We are extremely pleased with the work that was completed and would recommend TriTown as a contractor.
A complete renovation of our condominium was done in the summer of 20.
Anytime we had a question or concern regarding the renovation,owner, Marc DeVisse was available to assist us with our questions or needs.
This company stands by their work and are extremely professional and courteous.

We bought the property in January, and Tritown started work almost immediatelly. We had a fair amount of demolition and remediation prior to the actual begining of the reno, so the project took longer than we anticipated. But, work was consistant and timely - Marc did a good job pushing the job along. Always quick to respond to my calls/correspondance, willing to problem solve and show up when necessary. Big renovations tend to be stressful and expensive, and this was surely was. But in the end, we love our home and couldn't be happier with the results!!

We have used Marc's company, Tri-Town Construction, for the past eight or nine years and have never had a problem with his company.  They complete excellent work and are reasonably priced.  We live in NY part of the time and they have great communication with us, since we are not actually in Florida when they generally complete the work.  I send them a check at the beginning of the year as an advance payment if services are needed.  In the case of a quiet 2013 hurricane season where no work was needed, they simply send my payment back to me and charge me nothing.  I highly recommend them to others.

They did everything I asked. They were very punctual. The estimate was right on the money. I was very impressed with the work completed. They were great with the cleanup afterwards. I would highly recommend them to others.

Tri-Town Construction were very good. It was well planned. The actual work was well done. There was a glitch toward the end with the inspection. The county required a building for them to do the work and they required an inspection and the worker who's doing the work did not have that inspection completed before he completed the job so the initial inspection after that was failed. It was worked out in the end and it worked out fine.

Tri-Town's crew members clearly knew what they were doing.  Worked steadily.  Cleaned up well. We were especially pleased that they spent a lot of time locating and picking up nails and tiny metal debris with a roller magnet. Also, they were careful that the bushes near the house weren't harmed.  We would definitely recommend Tri-Town.
