---READ THIS BEFORE USING THEM--- In January, my wife and I decided to make the investment of putting new floors in our home, we met with Bill at the Bonita Springs location who started showing us some samples. We have been shopping around and were somewhat familiar with the brands available. When we found a sample that we liked (mirror lake brand), I asked Bill what the difference between that product and the other product (revwood) that we were looing at (at a different store) and he stated it was far more superior. Fast forward THREE months later, the product gets delivered and low and behold it is the revwood brand. Turns out, they just put a different label on the sample in the store and charge you more for it. Next trick they will use is for "Moisture Mitigation," this additional form of profit can be done on your own for $500 and only takes two coats and two hours to complete, not $3k. Lastly, they will try to get you with leveling, we had an issue with a low spot from a prior remodel, it took 21 bags of ARDEX self leveler which retails at $30 per bag, they charged me another $2500 for that, which only took about 1-2 hours to complete. I ran into the leveling issue again in my master bedroom, luckily, I did it myself with a contractor friend for $3-500, and they tried to get me for ANOTHER $2500. I didn't expect to have a 30% overage on this job, nor was any of that ever explained to me as a consumer. They will try to intimidate you and use the leverage of your house being torn apart to profit on you. My advise is to stay away, and if you choose them , tell them the quote is not to exceed the amount given. I understand that there are unknowns that come with any assignment, but not to be taken advantage of, especially after waiting FOUR months for a job to get done and being patient.

The salesperson, Elizabeth, did a great job, getting back to us promptly with answers to our many questions. The installation crew, Luis, Luis and Maria were pleasant and professional. They were meticulous, cleaned up after themselves and did a beautiful installation.

Very badly.

I bought a beautiful Karastan carpet. I was so excited to get it bound for a room I was redecorating. It was perfect. I also ordered a rug pad.

When I picked up the carpet, it was bound in this nasty cheap looking sheer polyester netting. It was also finished unevenly and the binding was unraveling in spots. It was an 8X10 carpet that cost $1300.00, I expected a quality binding job.  In addition the carpet pads were dirty. One had grease on it and the other was covered with foot prints. I assume they do a lot of installation and people don't realize that the carpet pad under their wall to wall is not clean. Of course the warehouse where you pick up your rugs is not clean and the floor is dirty so there is no checking the carpet for flaws because it cannot go down on the dirty floor.   Not that anyone offered.

Then the sales person told me I had unrealistic expectation and most customers would be happy. Really smooth. Frankly the issue is that the store charges regular prices, but is run like a bargain barn. I like bargain barns, but only for bargain prices. I had to argue and push and threaten to contact my credit card before the issue was resolved and it took almost a week.

Eventually the carpet was bound properly, although the color was off, but at that point I was just tired. I will take the carpet to be rebound at some point. I would never use this company again. What should have been a pleasurable experience turned into a trial.

Our experience with the company was very positive.  We used them on three occasions, and each time the work was perfectly done and all members of the team were extremely professional and very skilled.  We are very happy with everything done.

The workers were chronically late, inconsistent, and left my place dirty and not completed on time.  The renovation contractor / representative had to call Taylor to bring in a different group of workers to complete the work, and they even repeated the same behavior and quality of work.  I dont lay blame entirely on the contractor; the rep made many efforts in front of me to rectify the situation. Taylor Carpet needs to hire skilled, consistent workers who are fluent in English and produce quality work and enjoy what they do.

The installation began the date promised. I was not present for the installation. It was done right for appearance and I am picky. 2 weeks after the job was done one partition pieces lifted. They sent 2 men to check it. They ordered a new piece that was to come in 7-10 days. When they didn't call in 2 weeks I called and was told it was in and they would schedule installation. When they didn't call, I called and asked for the owner or manager - he listened fully and said this is not how we do business and he handled it 100%. (The part was backordered from the comapany, he had t order it from a store out of state.) When the repair men installed the new strip we showed them an area where the floor squeaks when walking over it. He said that's the way it is and nothing could be done about it. I haven't been to Ft Myers since then and will speak to the owner/ manager to see what can be done in the near future and will adjust my rating if proper.

They job had went way good. Their price was better than a couple of other companies, and i was very happy with the installation. I thought that they were pretty honest about the product, and it was a good buying experience.
