The realtor we dealt with is in Englewood FL - she was fine showing houses. We found her on line and she seemed very helpful. After we signed the contract is when things went bad. Settlement was to be Sept 19th and we have never purchased a home before we had not idea what to do or expect. Since it was a bank owend property things did not go as planned but she told us not to worry the bank would never ask for more than 1 extension to the contract. We are on our 4th one and she is of no help to us at all. Does not return phone calls or emails and we have moved 1000 miles from home based on her telling us to come down . On our drive down after the moving company picked up all of our belongs, she told us there was going to be another extension for just a week. When we expressed concern her response was "You guys love the beach just go to the beach and chill and we have to get used to the Florida lifestyle of things moving slower. It took 4 weeks to get to settlement and the entire time she just washed her hands of us pretty much. No return calls - no return emails - we finally hired an attorney and then things finally started moving. I had to contact the listing realtor and the title company myself. I tried calling the broker at her office to let them know what was going on and they also never returned phone calls. When all the paperwork was sent for closing we asked what we needed to do and still no return call. Finally after several attempts she did call back and guess what....she didn't know what we needed to do at said she had to contact the title company, I would never recommend this company if you are looking to buy a home in Southwest Florida. What was supposed to begin a new phase of less stress in our life it multiplied it by 10 Worst company ever We caught her in several lies. One day she said one thing then next day something different.
