Maybe the worst service department ever. I have been buying cars and having them serviced at Sam Galloway Ford since 1979. They used to have the best sales and service around. However, over the last few years it has gone downhill. Terrible communication and customer service. The last time my wife and I took our vehicle in for an issue that they caused, they gave us someone elses key. Did not realize it for several days because my wife used hers when we picked the vehicle up. Now two visits later and hours of wasted time, my wife is sitting at Galloway so they can completely reprogram our vehicle for security purposes. It appears soneone else got our key. To top things off they never properly fixed the original problem. I am due to replace my vehicle soon. Guess I will try a GM product for the first time in my life. Goodbye Ford.... all because service after the sale is the most important factor when choosing a new car. NEVER GALLOWAY!

It did not go well. I did not end up purchasing a car from them. They took almost 2 weeks to deliver a car that they were picking up from another dealer. I kept getting the run around. I eventually told them that I did not want the car. They refused to return my deposit.

I purchase Ford trucks for my business from Galloway Ford. I have always found an awesome salesperson there who will work with me to make vehicle purchases quick and painless. That's where the good service ends. I have had everything from alignments (which were not aligned after twice in the shop for several days each) heater issues, brakes, and everything in between. They once "repaired" a heater in April or May, I was charged a "deductible" on my extended warranty, and when it got cold again, i.e. the first time we tried to use the heater again, it didn't work, so we brought it back. This time it was out of warranty and they charged me even though they had "repaired" it before. For 7 years they never had the rental vehicles they promised when I'd buy the warranty or purchase the car; their wait times are horrendous. It was so bad, when it was time to purchase another vehicle, I as actually pricing them out of Bartow and Port Charlotte just to NOT work with Galloway and their crappy service center. I have a vehicle in there now (I was told they have a new manager, so I decided to give them a shot) which has been there for over a week, no one will call me back on the status, I get voicemail whenever/whoever I call, etc. When I spoke with someone after 3 or 4 days, they said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle because they were not diagnosing the electrical problem I had asked them to look into. Instead, they were just driving it, and it drives fine - but the electric doors and windows don't work. I can't say enough negative things about this service center. I have wasted so much time and money with them that even spending this time giving them a negative review is a waste of time. But I had to say something because they are such a horrible outfit. I can't figure out why anyone would think their service is good unless they are perhaps retirees that can sit around the waiting room as long as necessary. I think maybe when that happens, you get better service. If you're not sitting on them, I don't think you're going to get anything out of them.

We love this dealer. They are professional, curteous and provided excellent maintenance for our Mazda. We had an oil change on this vehicle and will take our vehicle to this dealer for all maintenance issues for the Mazda. Their service was quick.

The salesperson did not listen to me about what I wanted and would not show me what I wanted. It just was not a pleasant experience and that really bothered me. I got an additional type of treatment on the truck, called enviro-guard; it was not worth it. It does not do what it is supposed too. It is supposed to protect it from water stains and the elements, so you do not have to wax it so much and stuff like that and it is just not holding. I have hard water stains all over my vehicle. I still wash it once a week and they are not coming off. I am going to have to do an acid bath on it. I am happy with the vehicle. I am not happy with the dealer. They are big and they have the best selection. That is why I go there; they have the most vehicles. They have been in town forever and he is the leader in that kind of thing. I got to deal with the people there.

The service manager at Galloway Ford agreed to provide the necessary repairs, even though the warranty, even though the time period had expired a few weeks earlier. Galloway even loaned me a rental car for the day of the repairs. I paid a small fee, which was consistent with the warranty policy governing Ford dealerships; but the fee paid was more than fair given the circumstances.

My brother and I both love them. They do service on my Lincoln and I have no complaints. They are friendly, caring, and courteous. They have a great waiting area. It is a good experience all around. I would recommend them to anyone.
