The management at the apartment complex does change, but the quality of the management does not improve. One day the manager is nice and then next the manager is mean. This apartment complex has a long history of unethical behavior and should not even be considered when apartment hunting in Ft Myers. When the housing market was in a boom, they basically forced the renters out (with an option to buy an upgraded condo that no one in the complex could afford). They then upgraded and sold less than 10 condos. These poor people had to get an attorney to get out of the whole mess. Needless to say no one can sell a "condo" in an apartment complex; especially when they wanted to start charging additional maintenance fees. Just about everything was broken when I moved in the apartment (all the blinds, ice maker, reverse electrical problems - i.e. the bedroom switch turns off the living room light). After I left, they have the nerve to send me straight to collections without even contacting me for the broken blinds and carpet cleaning. The only stain on the carpet was from their own contractors using my bathroom when they had to repair the air conditioning system twice! The whole thing was just terribly unethical and very, very poor customer service.
