Simply outstanding!  I recently bought a house in Cape Coral, and the previous owner had neglected the pool.  After four weeks, the pool maintenance company that we hired told me that they could do nothing about clearing up the water because the pool needed to be refinished (at an estimated cost of $8700 and with a 3 month wait).  I was so fortunate to find Joe at Pool Pros!  I wish Angies List would allow me to post before and after pictures - what Joe was able to do in 4 days was amazing!  Joe and Pool Pros are absolutely the best!!

What an awful experience. The list of details is mind boggling. The short version is they refinished the pool but the surface was stained. They took 18 months to fix it! You read that correctly, 18 months. This is after literally dozens of emails, phone calls, text messages, and broken promises. The final product was still mediocre at best. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered, from owner, to vice president, to crew. Ashley was nice though and always tried to help.

I put deposit down in July 2017. Dan said September, then Irma hit. I had to repeatedly call and email to get a date in November. They pulled screening off my pool and left on my yard for 6 months. Then call again to get screening done in March! Dan said he would come out and fix things and clean up. In May I had to email and give him Ultimatum. Still trash in yard, pavers weren’t complete I. One corner. Not responsive or reliable. I regret choosing him. Did not come out and supervise and there is still trash In my yard. But Dan is a nice man, he just is not a professional who cares about his work.

I started using them during a remodel. Our pool had not been serviced for several months. They came in after and fixed everything efficiently and cleanly. They're quite; they come in do their job and I barely know they're there and my pool looks great!

They showed up at the scheduled appointment, did all the measurements for about 1 hour and we never got a quote from them. Maybe they are too rich to do large orders since we asked for a complete remodeling: new cage, new travertine, new concrete SPA and much more. Waisted time and never again!

I would recommend Pool Pros to anyone in need of Pool Repair. My only suggestion is to be patient. The staff are very well qualified and did a beautiful job. That being said, they are in demand because it is difficult to find talented people i.e. waiting periods and delays occur, so be prepared for that scenario possibly. Definintely worth waiting for Perfect Results. My pool looks like brand new and so does the deck area and lanai area. I couldn't be more happy with everything they did for us. Many grateful thank you's to everyone who worked on our project.

Dan Sheppard came out promptly after my request for an estimate.  Answered all questions and gave me a good price for the acid wash.  The gentleman that performed the acid wash was excellent.  The pool is about 13yrs old and wasn't taken care of by previous owners.  It had normal discoloration from hard well water however the main concern was about 20-30 round rust marks on the bottom of the pool.  He removed all the rust and the pool looks like brand new.  I thought I was going to have to replace the underwater pool light because of discoloration however he cleaned that so it looks like new as well.  Cannot say enough nice things about this company.  They did a wonderful job!  They also gave me a 5% discount for being on Angie's List.  Many Thanks to Pool Pros and Angie's List.  My pool is beautiful!

Met with vender and he was very nice got a quote when he promised, but when I had questions on the quote he never responded. Sent another email no response. Really like them and was going to go with them but if they can't respond to a question will they show up to do the job or service there work.

Steve Baker was great, very easy to work with.  The entire project went smoothly and quickly.

They're very reliable and dependable. They've actually done our pool service for the last 6 years.

Totally unreliable. Bad service. Often our pool was unusable because it was not serviced properly and had algae growths in it. After several "second" chances and warnings we had to change vendors.

I don't know what has happened to this firm, but quality has dropped off a cliff in the 2 year time period. Most recent issue: we have a salt water pool and UV light. I happened to be around one day when the service person arrived carrying jugs of chlorine. I asked why: he replied the pool needed it. I asked why isn't the chlorine generator working. He didn't know. Called the office and inquired when the last service was and what was going on. They were going to look into it and have someone out. Never happened. Following week, tech shows up with jugs of chlorine. New firm inspected today and found fuse in chlorinater was blown, and the unit likely hadn't been operating for months. Pool had zero salt, Spa remains dirty because they appear unable or unwilling to vacuum it. As I said above, from my start using them 2 years back their quality and responsiveness has fallen far beyond acceptable, and I feel like each week they have taken my money for ignoring my issues and taking my money a complete affront. Please look elsewhere for pool service.

Repairman said chlorinator needed to be replaced. Said new chlorinator would cost about 875 plus labor. I told him it was more than the 851 list price and 491 price on Amazon.com and said I could buy it and install it myself. He was honest and did not make up a story about him needing to install it or fix some non-existent problem with the power unit on the wall of the house. So while I was disappointed with the price the company was going to charge for the unit I appreciated his honesty and professionalism which was consistent with my past experiences with Pool Pros. They were a life saver when the pool was originally installed because the pool contractor closed his business just before the pool construction was done. Pool Pros was there to assist with the finishing touches. Since then they have given me good advice on pool cleaning equipment and been there for other minor fixes. Will continue to call them for repairs.

They are wonderful people to work with. The job went very well. They are very efficient, on time and friendly. I would recommend this company to anybody. I found that they had more reasonable prices than other companies.

The experience with them has been very bad. They were just inept in every way of our dealing with them. The service was poor quality and they had a poor response. They had a lack of communication and just simply did not do their job. I would not use them in the future nor will I recommend them to others.

Called Pool Pros to check the air blower on the spa because our paying guest called to tell me it was not working. Jim went out on Friday Jan 11th. I requested a call after the service to get updated since I was not on-site. NO CALL. I called the office around 5:00pm and asked again for a call and status update. Office person assured me I would get a call back. NO CALL except from my paying guest to tell me it was still not working.
Called the office on Sat., Jan 12th and again asked for an update. NO NOTHING. Called on Monday morning and requested a call and an update. Office person assured me I would get a call. NO CALL. Called again on Tuesday and let office person know of my situation. Apparently there are multiple office people and they don't communicate with each other. So I called on Wed. morning, the 16th at 9:30am and was again absolutely assured that this person would call me back shortly with an answer. After waiting all day I just called ONCE AGAIN at 5:00pm. After asking to talk to Joe Mitchell the owner, the office person tracked down some information.
By the way, the problem is still not fixed. I was assured (yeah, heard that before) that Brian would be on-site on Thurs. the 17th to finally fix the problem. I still don't know for sure what the problem is nor do I have an estimate for the repair. I do have a paying customer who is wondering if I am going to fix this problem. I have never been treated like this from a contractor. I don't understand the lack of emphasis on simple communication. It's hard to believe the "A" rating this company has.I would be careful if I were you.
Had to fight with them over the bill and we settled on $371.00. Would not use them again.

The process worked smoothly and was completed in several steps while other construction was going on. The owner visited several times to be sure the relocation and installation was proceeding properly and was very accommodating when I asked for a technician to make sure a water leak had not been created.

They came out to the house to help me with a pool system at the home I just purchased.  The representative explained everything and gave me a how-to tutorial.  He was very friendly, very knowledgeable and very patient with all my questions.  We diagnosed a couple problems with the system, and he made an order to have his guys come out the next day to perform the work.
The guys came out the next day and performed the work as described.  When I got home, the pump still wasn't working correctly.  I called the company and they said they would send someone out the next day.  They did and after their work, the pool pump has worked well ever since.  They also repaired some pvc piping that my wife wanted removed.
I would highly recommend them!

Pool Pros is always very responsive, timely and gets back to me in a very efficient manner. They are very friendly and even take time to answer my questions.
Weekly maintenance with Pool Pros was the best decision we ever made. Would HIGHLY recommend Pool Pros for Pool School and/or weekly maintenance.
