PODS Moving & Storage

Horrendous. I have wanted them to pick up my two empty pods on my driveway for 10 days and they say they are 9 more days out from picking them up. I pay for the days they are empty and they get free storage of their units. Do not use Fort Myers PODS. I have called every day and they just say too bad. Terrible operation.

PODS customer service DID NOT help us with the Ft Myers location. Awful service, we were looking to load up 2 16ft containers on the same day..movers lined up...8 months storage, Pods to avoid the on and off thing less damage!!! They delivered a really nice container and the a few hours later #2 showed up, it was so bad I asked the driver to get another, don't bother unloading it, looks like it came out of a field, driver said ya it basically did I just picked it up...they agreed and sent another...opened the door of a wood lined old POS container smelled like wet wood, not good for our belongings to be locked up in that musty container for 8 months in FL...PODS customer service refused to help...5 hours on the phone, refused to get them out of the way, worst experience ever ....stay away from this company...there are options out there, Pods refused to refund the 1st months storage deposit. Good looking ck with your move....

I contacted the better business bureau and filed a claim with PODS of Fort Myers but according to PODs, the case is closed. I will now be filing a claim with the county small claims court to recoup the money I will have to pay to repair the driveway. I have photos should any possible customer need to see. Beware of PODS. They have hundreds of claims filed against them on the better business bureau website.

For moving it would have been PODS. The cost of that service was about 3000 dollars. What stood out is that they dropped it off when they said they would and they picked it up when they said they would. I moved from Wisconsin and it was sitting here in Florida when I got here and not so much as a dish was broken. They did a wonderful job. I would rate them 'A' all the way across the board.

Instead of moving them, they just left them there for a very long time. After they finally picked them up, they took a long time to get to our new home.

They were great. The things did move around a little bit and if I ever did it again in the future I would bubble wrap a little more. My 67 chicken boxes and had nothing broken in the boxes. Just a some rubs on some of the furniture. They were always on time and courteous.

They were excellent. We really liked the way they moved the Pod and how they handled everything. We really had good service with them. They were cheaper than United by $200. When they load and unload the pod, it is very gentle. The Pod system worked really well. We had to postpone the date a couple times because of troubles with our moving date and they were very accomadating. They were very courteous and we had no problems.
