PLAZA SHOE REPAIR SHOP

Poor quality and rude service. I took my boots in to get the heels repaired. After the work was complete, the heel tips were not aligned with the heels and on one boot there was a gap/space between the heel tip and heel on one side. When I asked that the heel tip be tightened to the heel to eliminate the gap on one side, the lady at the counter took the boot to the repairman. He came to the counter, dropped the boot on the counter, and angrily stared at me with his brows raised. I waited and he said nothing. I asked if the heel was fixed and he replied with a rude and irritated tone, "What's the problem?" It seems he was taking my request to adjust the heel personally and was very cold with me. When he returned with the boot, a portion of the inner side of the heel looked like it had been sanded and was discolored from the rest of the heel. Before I could even notice this damage, he scolded at me that next time I shouldn't wait so long to get the heels fixed. I was beside myself. His tone and attitude was very rude and disrespectful. I immediately redirected the attention of the conversation from the heel to his rudeness (I had not seen the damage to the heel at this point). I told him he had no business speaking in a reprimanding tone to his customers. I told him that when a customer expresses a valid concern in a respectful and considerate manner, he should be mature enough to respond in a respectful manner. He then said, "Get out my store! Leave!" This was so surreal to me, I thought I was on an episode of Candid Camera. I left, remarking on his complete unprofessionalism. Unfortunately, in my upset, I did not notice the damage to the inner side of the heel until I got home. I am sure he knew he had damaged the heel when he took the boot back and I would bet that he didn't care.
