Mowed my yard every week in the dry season, so short, they broke multiple sprinkler heads. Rainy season comes and they hardly showed. Main reason for hiring this service was for the shrub maintenance that was included, that only happened 2 maybe 3 times in an 8 month period and that only happened because I had to reach out and ask when they were coming to service. Their administration specifically HALEY -- extremely unprofessional, doesn't care about the customer, talks over you from a speaker phone and repeats herself without solving issues. They said I was a problem client because I continued to ask when services would be provided. Then they advised they would LOVE TO CONTINUE servicing my lawn. So I agreed, then they didn't show for 3wks, never returned any of my calls or texts and when I called and finally got through to Haley, she advised ..."oh your file says we re not servicing you any longer". UNPROFESSIONAL - UNRELIABLE - UNCOMMITTED - TAKERS NOT WORKERS - AVOID!

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with Modern Cuts of SWFL. They quoted $297 to trim the bushes and shrubs in our front yard, remove weeds from all beds, clear debris, string edge, and spray to prevent further weeds. They, unfortunately, did not deliver. The crew showed up 15 min late and spent a total of 20 min working in my yard trimming bushes and using a weed whacker to ‘remove weeds’ leaving the beds full of half chopped up weeds before spraying. It simply was not the level of detail or service that has been discussed or approved. The experience further declined when I reached out with my concerns on the quality of the job. The person I spoke with was more interested in arguing with me and telling me that I was wrong than working to find a solution. Unlike this company, I kept my end of the agreement and paid them. I am incredibly disappointed in how all of this turned out. I will never hire them again and advise anyone reading this to go with a different pro. There are people who will charge 1/3 of the price I paid to deliver the same results.

"Hi, just to confirm we sent this message this morning; We will have another visit to the property in 3 days to respray the property regarding the weeds but there's nothing else that we can physically do. You mentioned the wording of the estimate: Trimming all shrubs with removal of debris, clean out all beds of weeds, string trim around all boarder areas and spray all beds for weeds. In conclusion it did not mention that we were going to hand pull weeds. Obviously the intention is to make sure that all of the beds are cleaned. We will make another visit just to ensure that all of the weeds have died."

My wife and I recently bought a house in Cape Coral. We were very lucky to find Modern Cuts. Antonio, Hailey and the rest of the company have been a pleasure to work with. Very professional, quick to respond and willing to help out with anything and everything they can. Antonio can do just about anything you ask him. And if he can’t do it, he knows someone who can. Contracted this company for a tree cut, removal, and stump grinding. Initially only cut and removed tree. After many attempts to contact the office and Antonio personally, they finally came and ground them stump. They only ground it down a few inches although we requested it ground out fully for replanting purposes in the contract. Unfortunately, they had already gotten the full payment and when i try to contact Antonio personally to correct it, he assured me he would get right back to me. Instead he won’t answer his calls/messages and blocked me on Facebook(i actually knew him from high school hence why i chose to go with him). I would NEVER recommend doing business with this man. Very shady and unethical.

From the very first call the service was very professional. Haley was very helpful throughout the entire process. Jason and his crew were also very professional and very helpful in discussing what needed to be done. It was the hottest day of the year to date, yet the crew preserved to complete the task. They are a great team and should be very proud of the services they offer. Excellent company to support your particular yard needs.

It went alright. I called them to do move trimming Antonia (the owner) came and gave me a great price. The problem came when he never came to do the job. Couldn’t get in touch with him. His phone was full and when I emailed their website, no reply. Don’t waste your time on this business.

Ethan and his crew were timely, professional, and completed the work in less time than I expected. They took the time to walk my large property with me and do everything I asked, as well as helping make suggestions in areas I wasn't sure what to do. The property looks amazing after their work! They had to clear out a ton of overgrowth and debris, but while doing so, left the property looking clean and still lush and inviting. I would recommend Modern Cuts of SW Florida to anyone in the Fort Myers area. Wonderful company and team!

The company contacted me very promptly and came out to my home within hours. Ethan listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions, spent time with us to make a plan. Very easy to work with. After details were tweaked we decided on a final plan with Antonio. He worked with me and when the crew and Ethan came out they executed the plan with speed and efficiency. Great workers and they left with all ends tied up nicely. Highly recommend Modern Cuts.
