After having repair attempted at a high cost at Sam Galloway Ford, Auto Air knew exactly what was needed and successfully fixed the problem quickly and at quoted price. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Quickly located the problem and ordered the part. Once it came from the auto parts supplier they had it in and replaced, recharged and ready to go in no time. I watched as several other customers had their cars repaired. Gary and his team gave them a rundown of what was found and 2 out of 3 customers came out with very minor problems and a very low repair bill (under $100), I believe at some other shops they won't look at your car for that amount. My bill was somewhat larger but I feel I got an accurate estimate and got only what I needed. I'm HAPPY my car is blowing COLD AIR !

I had taken my vehicle to a general service provider (auto) who does excellent work. They evaluated the air conditioning, re-charged and I paid $100 for this service. They said I needed a new air compressor totalling $950.
I then took it to Modern Air conditioning (found them on Angie's List). They checked it over, said all looked good but recommended I change the settings (to use re-circulating air). I just had this vehicle 6 months (it was used) and didn't even think of doing so.
They didn't charge me a dime.
Highly recommended? Of course.
Modern Auto services vehicles from dealerships and other 'general' auto repair centers.
These guys are the experts and they are certainly fair.
Angie's List required me to enter the approximate cost of service so I did enter $0.00. I wouldn't have mentioned that they didn't charge me otherwise - so people wouldn't expect this same kind of 'free' service.
Oh - the shop was extremely clean as well. That says a lot (that they care about their environment). No young kids working there either.
I will recommend Modern Air to my friends.

I brought the car back and they found a leak in a line not related to the first repair. They replaced this line at no charge saying he should have discovered this leak the first time the car was in for service.

Went to get AC service; no cold air. Vendor discovered that my last visit, from 11 months ago, was covered by one year warranty. Condenser seal replaced and system energized at no cost. Very honest gentlemen.

IT WENT EXCELLANT, MY AIR WAS SHOT AND THE IMMEDIATELLY INSTALLED AN ENTIRE NEW SYSTEM THAT WORKS GREAT AND DID IT IN THE SAME DAY, IN AND OUT AND IT WORKS GREAT. THIS IS THE THIRD VEHICLE THAY HAVE INSTALLED NEW AIR FOR ME, 1989 JAGUAR, 1998 CHEVY SUV, NOW THIS JEEP GRAND CHROKEE.

These folks (Jerry, the owner) are AWESOME! I took my car in at the end of June. He found two rusted lines and fixed that. It worked for 2 days and started blowing warm air. I called them and brought the car back in. I had VERY LIMITED funds and was nervous about the outcome. They looked at the car, and it was explained to me that there was some rusted out part that they missed on the first fix. Jerry the owner said, "In the name of fairness, we'll replace that part at no charge"! I was THRILLED!
This company is honest, fair and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I moved to Florida from Ohio...and while it gets hot in the summer up there...it's super hot down here in the summer. On 5/6/2010 we quoted you on an evaporator repair $948.00 (retail price of $1206.00) The repair was declined. You returned on 5/2/2011 for a minor repair of $160.00 which we completed. I'm sure there is always a shop out there that will beat our price. They were quick, efficient and the price was fair. They tried to save me a ton of my by replacing something else. They couldn't guarantee it and it ended up not working a few days later. I took it back and they put what they originally charged me towards the new conditioner, which they didn't have to do.

They diagnosed the problem and came back to me with the estimate. They were honest. They could have told me that I needed a new compressor and I would never have know the difference. Instead, the said it was one of the hoses, fixed it for considerably less money that a new compressor would have cost. Also recommended that I replace a worn belt and showed me how worn the belt was. I wish other service providers were as honest.
