Lunsford Construction Inc.

I discovered I had a leaky shower pan in the master bathroom which had manifested itself as blistering in the lower garage wall.  I searched for a good plumber to fix the problem here on Angie's list.  I called Waterworks Plumbing and they indicated they no longer did this type of work, but they recommended me to try Lunsford Construction, since they had much success with his past work as a bathroom contractor.  I called Jim Lunsford and he quickly came out to give me an estimate which I then submitted to the insurance company, since the water leak was an insurable claim.  After receiving the claim I contacted Jim Lunsford to get another reference.  He supplied me reference of whom I called.  This reference also spoke highly of Jim's work.  So I called Jim and awarded him the contract.  I was very impressed with his honesty from the get go.  
I paid Jim half of his contract up front and the final half was paid upon completion of the work.  Jim got started quickly after the permitting was filed and approved.  Jim finished the job in less than two weeks from starting.  He tore out the old shower wall and floor tile and the defective shower pan.  (The defective shower pan was an old tar paper pan from 1967 when our house was built.)  The new pan was installed by a tile subcontractor that Jim had on his team.  Excellent work.  After it was inspected by the city and passed by the city, the wall and floor tile and new sill was installed and the bathroom painted.  Jim also repaired the blisters and holes in the garage wall.  The city came out for a final inspection and it was approved.  This was an excellent job all the way around.  We are very pleased with the workmanship and quality of Lunsford Construction.
