What a waste of time they don’t even take the time to give you what you need or answer the questions you need answered

Do not use the Tampa office of Latite. I only have experience with the Tampa division but Fort Myers must be the parent company. We had a house built in 2013 and the builder used Latite (Tampa) to do all their houses in the neighborhood. I know of several houses across multiple neighborhoods that all had roofing issues by the same builder who sub-contracted to Latite (Tampa). My personal experience is that we had issues from the beginning but as with any roof, issues aren't known until a really good rain comes along. I first noticed an issue a little over a year after the house was built. We had leaks in roof corners where there should be a flashing. Turns out the roof was installed without any flashings. And this was the case for many of the neighbors who had issues also. Thankfully, I found the leak within the 2 year warranty that Latite offers but outside of the 1 year warranty that the builder offers so I had to deal with the issue. The leak was "repaired" at the time and the drywall issues were fixed. Another year goes by and we have bad storms and the same areas are leaking except the leaks have moved by about a foot. I call Latite again and send pictures of the damage (which is worse than the first set of leaks), but I am now out of warranty, of course. I was provided a quote to get roof issues repaired that have essentially been there since the initial installation. I will not be paying Latite (Tampa) any money to fix my roof. Sad that a company doesn't stand by their work enough to offer more than a two year warranty for a roof knowing that issues won't be found unless the damage is in obvious areas and enough rain comes through to have it show up. If I look at other roofing vendors on AngiesList, they have 5-7 year warranties.

They did a really nice job in a timely manner. I don’t know how their price would compare with others, but they did charge a lot for the work. I did have a leak, and they fixed it promptly, but they did not fix the damage that happened inside as a result of the leak, and my husband felt that they should have helped us with that; they fixed the roof itself but not the resulting damage. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They provided a free estimate and did the work on the day scheduled. They made sure I was completely satisfied before they finished.

The provided a warranty that is good for five years. They showed up on time when they said they would. They did what they said they were going to do. They also cleaned up well when they were done. I would use them again.

It took over six months to get the tile owing to Charlie. The work started promptly thereafter.
