Great. All my family and friends have used them for years. Several years ago after receiving a quote for AC air exchange which was going to be $$$, my son in law said call Kobie. First thing technician did was ask and listen to what exactly was happening. In 15 minutes he knew and fixed the problem for $. This time I heard the compressor slightly struggling to turn on. Rich from Kobie came quickly analyzed and replaced with correct parts for my unit. Done…. Turns on perfectly.

They were excellent, the technician that came was Mark Eaton Jr., The thermostat was replaced and the Air conditioning system is working perfectly after, they did an excellent job. He was here for just 15 minutes and replaced the thermostat right away, and that was quick, and my Dad was calling the office and he just arrived 15 minutes later, while my Dad was still on the phone. I highly recommend their service to my friends.

Tech (owner) arrived quickly- even though after hours, and we live away from town. Made emergency repair but said system & ducting were shot. Gave a fair price- including $300-$500 emergency repair. Crew arrived as scheduled and stayed until entire job complete. Inspector said very good work. Office co-ordination was excellent. All employees were pleasant to deal with.

My husband and I had been doing business with Technical Services and enough was enough. I won't go into all the details of the issues we faced with that company. It boggles my mind that they're still in business. We gave Kobie Kooling a call and scheduled a maintenance service for two properties we own. Their tech, Jason, was a Rock Star! He informed me about so much that I had not ever been made aware of. One of our units wasn't ever properly proportioned for our square footage and now I can actually hear the air blowing out of the vents as I should have for the past four years! Jason also told me that our electric bill will now be $25 less due to this adjustment. He was extremely professional and spent an hour and a half at each property. He cleaned up our units and even changed the batteries to the thermostat. No other tech has ever done that. After months of dealing with Technical Services, we were actually happy to pay them whatever the cost to get our A/C units back on track again. We highly recommend this company.

I have a maintenance plan with them. There is only one guy in the company that I will let touch my stuff. As long as he is still working there and still servicing my unit, I will continue to use them. They tell me what needs to be done in the future to maintain the unit. They leave the area clean.

Done in one day, on time, interactive, price, equipment, and installation as agreed. Outstanding job, would highly recommend.

We have a yearly contract with them and they never call.  I'm thinking of changing.  They don't do follow up at all. The pricing wasn't bad if I remember correctly. They're fine, I just never hear from them.  They're supposed to follow up.  One person usually comes out and it takes about 1/2 hour.  They leave the area pretty clean.  In my opinion, they don't do much really well.

I still have a list of outstanding complaints with the Better Business Bureau & 2 complains with the Attorney General’s office. The owner of the company swore and threatened my wife in front of 4 neighbors, who witnessed it. Sworn depositions to the police and he had an order of protection for 90 days, that neither him or anyone from his company could come within 1,000 yards of my community. Kobie gave me a quote 12 years ago, that another company that we just had, did it for a third of that. The cop actually arrested the owner of the company for threatening my wife.

The office folks were very professional, friendly and informative. The A/C "Tech" (Layne) was punctual, extremely knowledgeable, very professional and respectful of my home / property. He explained everything as he worked and gave me some great tips for keeping my system running smoothly. He did a great job!

My husband called them and they said they would be out by 9:00 that night. We were really hoping it was something simple, like the drain backed up or something like that. Fred Kobie III arrived at 8:50 and went upstairs, told us it was either the drain backed up or the freon was low. He went outside, checked the drain, cleaned it out and everything was great! He was there only about 15 minutes, did not charge us the service call (which would have been $89) and told us to buy a small shop vac to do that in the future if it happened again. We were so pleased with his promptness, quick service to the unit and his eagerness to solve the problem! He was polite, friendly, very knowledgeable and just a nice guy all around! We are renters, but I will call them for any future issues and will most definitely recommend them to anyone who ask me about an AC company!! Kobie Heating and Cooling is by far the best AC company I have ever dealt with in Lee County!!
