Countertop and Backsplash Service
Terrible customer service! The owner has tried to blame everything and everyone but not willing to take responsibility for this. He has lied repeatedly and promises to get back with me but never does.

Original salesman (Kaylin) was nice. The workers do not speak English. The Owner is very rude, yells at you and denies any responsibility. He will not respond to our calls. I am 83 years old.

We could not make our preferences known either to the person drawing the templates for the granite or to the installers as neither spoke adequate English, and unfortunately we don't speak Spanish. As a result, the wrong angle was cut in one corner, which scraped off the enamel of the door to our refrigerator when it was put back in place.
We had ordered a composite sink with the granite, but the hole was cut for one of stainless steel. We had to put up with the latter as the granite was already installed before the error was discovered.
The granite we picked out was not the one delivered. We were told they didn't have enough for our kitchen and substituted one that was "similar" - without notifying us until our previous countertop had been dismantled.
The Corian molding was just ripped out, taking with it the paint and paper covering the wallboard.
A week following the installation we noticed the sink had dropped some 5 inches below the level of the granite. Further investigation showed it was attached with only glue and cardboard. There was no mechanical attachment to the surrounding cabinets whatsoever. We were forced to hire a carpenter to reinstall the sink properly.
Debris (pieces of our old countertop, razor blades, and a broken screwdriver) were left after the installation on the sidewalk leading to our house and in the driveway.

Countertop and Backsplash Service
I went to the business property to pick out the granite. There were craftsmen there cutting and finishing other jobs. They came within days of picking out my selection and the workmanship was superior. There were two men to install a rather large kitchen area. They came on time and finished late that afternoon. I can not see one seam unless I look really hard for it. The cuts were perfect, they cleaned up after they finished. His prices are lower than anyone else I researched and he has a huge selection. Very happy!

Stay away. They do not do what they say they will. They made a template for a granit counter top in the shape we asked for and then cut it differently. They demanded payment on the day of installation (even though we had called to say the shape was wrong) or they threatened to remove the counter top and take it away with them and we would lose our 50% deposit. The owner's son promised to return and rectify the counter top but then refused to do so. We tried for months to get them to take care of it. In the end we complained to the Better Business Bureau and still got no response. They just would not return phone calls, and when we did manage to make contact with the owner or his son they just screamed at us and hung up. We would never use them or recommend them again.

The price was good. I thought that their labor workforce could have been better. They didn?t coordinate with the plumber very well. The job was fine even though they had to come back and fix some things. I am not sure if I am going to use their services again and I need to look around for other companies.

I called GVM to give us a price on granite counter tops. Calin came the next day and gave us an excellent quote, and could provide the special edging that I wanted. We gave them a deposit and the process started with their template person coming out and doing the measurements, he took them and the countertops were done in two days. We have quite a bit of counter tops. I was shocked. other companies had quoted more and took much longer. Only one glitch the kitchen sink was not centered in the cabinet. The measurements were about 2 inches off. So it depends on how picky you are. But the price was right and once everything is finished it will be hard to tell the sink is off center (its a big three bowl sink). Installers were great and finished up in one day. Note they add a metal bar in front of and in back of the sink area for added reinforcement. No other granite manufacturer I talked to did this.
