Everything went very well. They were here when they said they would be. Cleaned up while they were working. They had a challenge with one of our windows, but took care of it and it looks very good.

As a standard practice, I contacted 3 highly rated companies to quote this.  Not only were they the best price, but they beat out their competition in every area and made me feel most confident in their ability to do this right.  Chip was very prompt to come and quote the job, the company is very responsive and it is good to be informed.  We explained our situation and he fully understood and certainly did not try to sell us on things that we clearly weren't interested in.  I really felt that he had our situation in mind and came up with the best solution to effectively fit our budget.  They were very helpful in answering questions and providing information.  Their installers were right on time, put down protective covers on our floor, were very careful, very professional, and most importantly delivered a sound installation that we are very pleased with.  At the end of the first day, he pointed out a window that he was taking a closer look at and informed me that he was going to re-install it because he noticed that it could have been better.  We really appreciated that he would redo his work instead of rigging it up since we don't really know any better....the change was minimal, but it showed efficiency and pride in what he was doing.  We will certainly call them when we are ready to do the rest of the windows.

When the windows and doors arrived, our installation was scheduled. The work crew arrived when expected, and they communicated well with each other and with us. The work was completed in a timely fashion to our complete satisfaction. When working with an older home that has some shifts and quirks, creative ideas and solutions may be required. That was so with our home. We are completely pleased with the suggestions and solutions. Our new windows and doors are a beautiful upgrade.

We bought a condo that had old windows and we wanted to update them and
get impact windows.  Chip was very informative about the types of
windows, laws on replacing them and cost.  Once we picked the windows we
wanted he gave us an proposal and we  signed the contract.  He told us it would take
about 6 to 8 weeks for them to come in and we had them in 5 weeks.  We love our new
windows and it is even more quite in the condo now that we have the impact windows.
We would purchase from this company again!

I am happy with Gulf Coast Builders, Inc, they did a good job and the prices were what I expected. The results all look good, they did clean up after themselves and the inside looks good. Overall it was a very good job.

We hired Gulf Coast Builders to remodel our 3-bedroom vacation condo after seeing the nice work they did on two other units in our building.  As this was to be a long-distance remodel (we live in Minnesota), it was important for us to be able to clearly communicate to each other.  We were given "assignments" to select tile, carpet, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, cabinet hardware, etc. that we could do in Minnesota and send the product details to them.  They handled the installation of these items, either with their own employees or with experienced, licensed subcontractors.  We did select the appliances and granite locally in Fort Myers which they then coordinated the delivery and installation.  They helped us with the selection and installation of a new entry door and also window treatments.  We inspected their work when it was nearly complete and there were a few to-do items added to a punch list that were completed to our satisfaction.
It took about 6 months to complete the project due to some delays that were beyond their control such as weather and limited access to our unit while there was some exterior work being done at our condo building.  Their staff was great to work with as well as their subcontractors.
We are very pleased with our remodeled condo and look forward to spending time there for many years to come!

They were very informative and knowledgeable. They had a very good product and were a pleasure to speak to, unfortunately their price wasn't as good as the company we ended up using.

The owner came and did the estimate. He talked with us. He explained what they would do. I really liked him and he was very down-to-earth. I would rate them highly. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They were very nice to deal with. They have a great product. Their price was just a little higher than others.

We called several window contractors. Chip Davis, owner and contractor, came to our villa to give an estimate for window replacements. He was not high pressured and made recommendations specific to the needs for each window. (Another company wanted to replace every window with low-e, but Chip didn't think that was necessary for the windows that didn't receive direct sunlight.) He also gave us the option to or not to insulate each window for sound. Even though we did choose to insulate all, he expalined that it cost an additional $240 per window. We had eight windows replaced. The windows had hurricane shutters that no longer meets current codes, These were also removed. The replacement crew were very professional and did a great job. They covered the interior of our home with plastic to help minimize dirt, removed the old windows, removed the hurricane shutters, installed the new windows, and patched the walls. We are very happy with the new windows, and they have made our home more comfortable and quieter.
