Robert Olan, the owner and manager of Green City Solar, LLC, is a skilled electrician and a Solar energy specialist. I would recommend him for any electrical or solar energy problem. He is a professional that knows what he’s doing. For more than 2 years, the breakers for my solar energy system, continued to trip. This breaker problem resulted in communication breakdowns with the system’s micro inverters. It also disrupted the system’s energy production. For more than 800 days I was required to reset the system when the breakers tripped, sometimes several times a day. This breaker problem began from the minute the system was first energized. The company that installed the system, Complete Solar, was aware of the problem, but never made an effort to fix it. Mr. Olan is my hero. In less than an hour, he discovered the problem & fixed it. I no longer have to reset the system, & it is a big weight off my shoulders. The feeling is magical. I still can’t believe I don’t need to reset it.

We have had our solar system and backup battery from GreenCitySolar for over two years now. It has performed really well, and for about 8 months out of the year, we only pay the minimum to our electric company for having service. Customer service has been outstanding, and in fact when our backup battery was delayed due to supply chain issues, Robert moved us up on his schedule to install a few days before Ian hit. The system performed really well the week that power was out in the area, and we were able to run everything except the A/C during that period.

Robert was very professional and courteous. He was hard working and did a fantastic job! It's like having a new pool!!

I have been using Robert for years. He ALWAYS provides prompt, VERY reliable, very honest, and very reasonably priced service. I would never consider using anyone else. Robert is the BEST! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with solar systems.

Dishonest and shoddy work. Robert never said there was a $90 estimate fee, yet sent the 90$ bill separate from the work estimate. After he left and supposedly finished the work, I discovered that he failed to install two vital components and had to call him to return, which was not til the following day. DO NOT HIRE.

They installed in a day and then came back a little later to make sure everything was working properly. Did need to do some fine tuning on the relief valve that was making noise when draining. Had aight panels installed that I run from 10 AM to 4 PM and even in December the pool stays at 90 degrees.. Very nice looking solar panels with a 12 year warranty. Price was higher than I had in my budget, but think is was worth it.

I haven't used them for anything except the initial install. I hope its a long time before I need 'customer service' to fix an issue. Based on their excellent work and scheduling, which accommodated us perfectly, I have no misgivings and would recommend them to anyone!!

We used Robert Olan at Green City Solar for a residential photo electrical panel roof installation in Fort Myers in May 2017. We found him and his partner pleasant to work with and have been pleased with the results. We are saving about $100 per month off of what our electric bills would be from FPL without the solar panels, as well as feeling good about taking care of the environment. I also like the way the panels look on the roof. I would not hesitate to use Green City Solar again or to recommend them to others. I know they also do solar heating, though we used them for electricity generating panels. We went with 33 SolarWorld panels, 290 watts each for a 9.5 kW system, with a Solar Edge inverter. The Solar Edge inverters connects to your router and you can monitor the system performance over the Internet. It's been up and running for a few months now and there has been no problems.

Robert and Alex were very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. They completed the job in one day and returned two day later for a followup. Everything is working great.

Price, while not my major concern, was the best. This is a small co., who learned their business by 10 yrs. of installation with other cos. They do the most efficient work, with top quality solar panels & 2" PVC "plumbing". Can't say enough about their work -- quick, COMPETENT, and Robert came back to explain details about their pump and the controller. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
