On the Florida room ceiling project, we were delighted that Jeff's experience allowed him to design the corrective actions based on what he encountered during the removal of the old ceiling.  He worked carefully even during the tear out of the old ceiling to avoid damaging walls, glass doorwalls and trim.  He communicated with us closely on each step, showing us what he had uncovered, and providing us with choices on how to proceed.  He advised us of his planned work schedule each day and remained flexible to accommodate our plans as well.  When we determined that we needed to order additional new wood for the ceiling to allow for trimming as well as covering the area, he shifted his work schedule to complete the job the day the wood arrived.  In addition to doing a great job on the repairs, he showed his talent as a craftsman.   He was able to modify the wood we purchased on site to trim out the edges of the ceiling and make the new moldings stand out.
He continues to amaze us at his breadth of experience, his fair pricing, the demeanor of his workers and his subcontractors.  He leaves the worksite clean at the end of every day, he arrives punctually and works diligently.  In each case, the work was completed on time and on budget!
We have had the opportunity to use Jeff Gerwitz on three occasions now for large and small jobs, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering remodeling, repairs, or new construction.
