furniture sales, oriental rug cleaning

Description of Work: The expertise of the owner of this company with whom I spoke was very evident over the phone. I sent 9 oriental carpets to be cleaned and repaired (several needed refringing and other types of repair). I went to the company myself and saw some of our rugs that had been cleaned and were hanging in the sunlight to dry. All nine carpets will be returned to me cleaned, repaired and moth proofed and because I cannot put them back in place for several months, they will also be rolled and wrapped in special paper so they can be stored until I can put them down on the floors. I know this seems like a lot of money, but considering the value and age of these carpets, I think that the cost of repair and cleaning is a fair price.

+ -1 moreTotally unsatisfactory. Ordered mantle, when it came in it was the wrong color. Very shoty work. Chipped marble patched with resin that later fell out. When we questioned them about the color they told us that they would send us the color packet and that we needed to apply the color by ourselves. Never explained to us. They had us pay first before they would send us it. After many hours of frustration over the phone with them they agreed to ship us a new mantle if we shipped the old one back which would cost us another $1000 plus a ton of headache. No one in our area could even ship this for us. A lawyer told us that others have current lawsuits against Fines Gallery as well.
Description of Work: Purchased a custom built marble mantle piece.
