I spent 2 years looking for a particular quartzite stone. David was very patient and accommodating on our many, many trips to stone yards ( in Fort Myers and Naples) to view the slabs. He understood that this was a very important decision and wanted me to be confident in the choice made. Ultimately, he and his crew did a very professional install. The kitchen and vanity counters look amazing. Nothing but compliments from everyone that sees them. If you're looking for a stone installer, look no further. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. PS. Sadly, the house was affected by water damage during hurricane Ian and the cabinets will have to be replaced. David was the first call I made to remove the stone. That was done without a scratch. Update: The counters were re-installed last week. They had to make some modifications due to the fact the new cabinets were a tad higher. Everything looks fantastic. This is the stone installer that makes your counter dreams come true.

Not favorable Meant to review this company when I had the work done. But last night someone mentioned them and brought back all the horrendous memories of the worse contractor I have ever done business with. I made an appointment to meet with David at Fandos on the recommendation of a friend. Fandos installed a very expensive quartzite in her kitchen and two bathrooms. She was satisfied so I thought he would be a good place to start on my hunt for stone for my kitchen and two bathrooms. First or all David complained that I took up too much of his time on the first visit. He said over 5 hours, it was less than half that. We went to a couple granite warehouses (I drove). One warehouse was enormous and had lots to look at. There was a couple wanting granite, but did not have a fabricator. I suggested he go talk with them. He did and I believe he actually got the job. So, I personally feel I did him a favor there. I admit it did take me several look around on my own before I once again met up with David. My main concern was having the seam looking… well seamless or as near seamless as possible. His partner came to my house to make a template. He and David then took it to the warehouse to lay it out. Took pictures and sent them to me. I agreed to the layout. I had also picked a small piece of quartz he had leftover from a job for a small vanity (guest bathroom). The job including labor came to $6,000. It was more than other places quoted, but I felt I should award Fandos the job as I had more interaction with them. I signed the contract which also included a large double under mount sink for the kitchen, 2 under mount sinks for the master bath and 1 under mount sink for the guest bath. He and the partner agreed the sink sizes would be appropriate for the counters. I decided on the sinks, signed the contract and left a 50% deposit. Balance payable on completion. A date for installation was agreed. Large job. Should take all day and maybe return for a few hours on the next day. Date of installation: 8:00, 9:00, 9:30…. No one…. I call Fandos. “They should be there shortly “ 10:00, 11:00, 11:30. Still no one. I call again. Shortly thereafter, I have a return call from the installer. They informed me, that they were unaware of the job and time. They assured me they would be here within the hour. They were. Apparently, this job that was suppose to be done by Fandos unbeknownst to me was sub contracted out…. I was told it would be done in-house, but that’s fine. I know subbing out work is done all the time. When they arrive, they informed me they had another job after mine on the same day. Head scratch??? Me: but after my work is completed first…. They made a phone call and said they would stay. Started in the small guest bathroom. The one with the small left over quartz piece from the fabricator. Sink goes in first…. Doesn’t fit. Sink is too big for the vanity. . The installer calls David. He says, “What do you want me to do? I didn’t measure it!” WOW! He sent over the partner who did the measure. They discussed “trimming away” the vanity to have the sink fit. I felt “trimming away might compromise the integrity of the vanity and didn’t like this idea. I said they should bring over a smaller sink. They can’t. The hole was already cut. Me: Ok, “ bring over another piece of the quartz with a smaller sink. They don’t have any more quartz or a smaller sink in stock. Me: How about a different piece of stone? David: “What are we suppose to do with the piece we already cut for you? Me: Not my problem… I finally agreed to have them trim away the vanity with no guarantee of it not being compromised. Meantime David is demanding I pay them an additional $1200 for this extra work (took 1 hour - he’s such a crook!). I refused. Next the kitchen counter goes in. The pieces that were so meticulously layed out were not cut as the template indicated. The seam was horrible. The partner still happened to be here and called David. He just yelled and screamed that I was the most difficult customer he has ever had to work with! What? Me: You and your partner layed it out. I agreed to it. It was cut incorrectly. David: you’ve been nothing but trouble. I want payment in full today. Me: but the work is not completed. David: it’s more than 3/4 complete. Me: but it’s a horrible installation . You’ll be lucky if you get any more money! David: I’ll call my lawyer on you. I’ll put a mechanics lien on your house! Me: give me something off this job and you will be paid in full when the job is completed. David: you already cost me more than the job is worth! (He’s an idiot. Rude. Jerk. You don’t talk to customers like that.) He threatened the installers and his partner that they better come back to the office with a check from me. I caved and wrote out a partial payment. When the installers brought the check, he read them the riot act. Yelling, screaming, swearing…. They told me all this the next day when they returned to complete the work in the master bathroom. Unfortunately, there was an issue with one of those pieces also. Fortunately. The installer was able to repair it. Poorly, but at least there wasn’t a gaping hole… David called several times that day to make sure the installers would get the rest of the money. Again threatening a mechanics lien and calling his lawyers on me. I asked once again that he take off some money for the shoddy job and once again he yelled and screamed. His partner agreed the seam should not look as bad as it does, but his hands were tied when it came to David. I would have loved nothing better than to let him go through with his threats, but at the time I had someone Ill staying with me and I just wanted to be done with David and Fandos. Good riddance.. The reason his name came up yesterday…. The same friend who recommended him had major water damage from hurricane Ian. She needs to replace all the lower cabinets in her house. She thought she could try to salvage the quartzite countertops that cost her close to $20,000.00. No guarantee, but Fandos would try to salvage them. His team was successful. (not him…. He doesn’t do any actual work) What was the cost for a few hours work to remove these countertops? $2,000.00. He’s outrageous! The last picture shows how poorly the stone was not was matched. You can see by the template layout that the granite looks nearly the same where the seam is suppose to meet. One photo shows where the seam would go. It looks so bad. The installers gave me a piece of leftover granite to use as a cutting board. (Shhh. Don’t tell David). I have my coffee maker sitting on it with a long basket of coffee pods beside it situated over the seam. I don’t like the clutter but it’s better than looking at the eye sore. I would never in a million year Fandos to anyone. Good luck it you decide to go with him.

"Job was done on 9/2019 over 3 years ago. You should get a book deal with Mother Goose because you are a great story teller. This is so far from the truth but please read and you will see what we had to work with. All she wanted was money off the job. This is the old you can't make everyone happy, but we tried. I should have listen to her friend when she told me that [Member Name Removed] is very hard to work with and is always looking for a deal. In 40 years I have never met such an angry vindictive person. Hope you can find peace in life God bless you."

We hired Fandos to do our bathroom countertop, sinks, shower curb, and the back bar for our free-standing tub. David was extremely flexible and competitively priced. His measurement/template guy and the installers were fantastic and professional at every turn. David gave us great recommendations on what would go well with our tile and flooring. I would highly recommend Fandos to anyone!

Very well. The installers did an excellent job. A bit of advice - do as we did and visited the showroom of the quartz supplier to see a full-sized (or slightly smaller) slab. Just looking at the small sample is not enough. We changed our minds completely once we saw the full slab.

Everything went better than could have been expected. The price was very competitive for the quality of materials selected and the work was done with great attention to detail.  The granite and floor installers were artists!  David did everything possible to coordinate the work with other contractors and with the move in.  We have recommended Fandos to others as has our other contractors.  We will continue to recommend them to our friends that may need their services.

We were novices in remodeling when we entered the Store/shop.  Dave took his time to explain how the process worked and then took us to see what marble he had available  It was a pleasant experience.  I called when I was ready for his guys to come and take measurement.  They came the next business day.  Originally it was to take a week to cut it but it only took one day.  The guys came back the next day and installed it and did a great job.  I am very happy and will use them when I remodel my kitchen.

We were upgrading our kitchen. We purchased all new appliances, fridge, range, microwave
and dishwasher, all in stainless steel. Our old bisque sink was out of place and needed to be replaced.
We contacted a plumber. Measurements were taken of the old sink and a new stainless steel one purchased.
The plumber removed the old sink, only to find that the new sink would not fit, the opening was too small.
Our countertops are Zodiaq, a quartz material. The plumber threw up his hands. He could not cut it and
didn't know anyone who could.
So there I sat with a $600. sink that wouldn't fit. Fortunately I found Fandos. I called them and spoke with David.
Since they were a Zodiaq dealer, could they cut the countertop? Well, not only could they cut it, but they could
do it the next morning. As promised, they arrived at ten o'clock. Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky?
They enlarged the opening, doing a precision cut through the Zodiaq and the sink fitted in perfectly.
Great job, great price, great people.

When we met to discuss the plan, David and I walked the lot and looked at potential choices. The next day, I returned and he had three options for the remodel within the budget. Due to the configuration, David suggested using quartz for counter tops and continue the quartz edging the soaker tub and continuing into the shower. The job was scheduled the next week and they showed up as promised installing the counter top and doing the demo on the shower. David suggested adding more of the quartz as a shower seat and soap shelf. By adding the additional quartz, there wasn't enough to do the guest bath. David suggested that we add a granite top instead, maximizing the look in the master. Great idea, with no extra cost to the project. The next week, the tile arrived and the crew installed the new cement board and retiled the shower with a great look.
Can't say enough about the process. David has great vision and the ability to make improvements on the fly is an outstanding asset. The crew was as good. They worked with perfection and kept me informed all the way. No complaints!

Being an absentee owner, I was in town for a limited amount of time but wanted to upgrade the kitchen before the new tenants arrived in a month. I sent the estimate calculator from their website to them and received a call the next day. I met Dave, and described my need and he did everything to make it happen. I picked out the slab and they delivered the new countertops within a WEEK! Even better than that they installed a custom backsplash in two days. There are numerous granite companies in the area and Fantos has earned my loyalty.

Communication was difficult--owner would get agitated. The material cannot be smoothed on the edges and we were not told that. They installed a damaged piece with a corner that was chipped apparently during the fabrication. They had another piece they could have used or they could have had a seam. They would not make it good without our assumption of responsibility if they damaged the backsplash. Bottom line--we have a beautiful high maintenance fragile granite that has a corner that is prominent that is poorly repaired.

It was the second time we've used them. They do very good work. They are very friendly and they clean up really well. They were able to do it with no seams. They also gave us an extra piece of granite as a cutting board.
