It went extremely well. We would definitely hire Erickson drying systems in the future if we required their services period we couldn't have been more happy with their service and professionalism. They were terrific.

A very Professional company and everything went very smoothly form start to finish!. Use this company!!
Response from Ericksons Drying Systems
"So grateful for the opportunity to meet this customer! He visited our offices and brightened our day. Water damage mitigation work and follow-up is often fraught with many days worth of phone calls, meetings with insurance adjusters, and constant communications; this customer was a real joy to connect with."

I honestly do not know what we would do without Erickson's. They truly have been a lifesaver. I manage a large apartment community and whenever I have an issue they are quick to respond, educate us on how things work and why they use certain products and how and why they suggest the amount of equipment and time to use the equipment for, yet always allow us to make the decision. For my carpet cleans ,Cedrick (the main technician that comes to my property) goes above and beyond to ensure any stains come out and will communicate with me if he notices something we may have missed. My last minute requests have always been accommodated, although I know this can be difficult. Overall, Erickson's have proven themselves to me and I have come to appreciate the phrase "you pay for what you get" because they truly are great. Their prices are very reasonable and in some circumstances (depending on the service you are asking for because they offer many services) they may be higher than another company; however, I would rather pay a few extra bucks to get the quality work they provide.

"We have been providing this Angieslist.com customer with services for a number of years, and relationship has meant everything! Truly, whether it's carpet cleaning, or water/mold damage mitigation, we are happy to support her needs and the needs of others."

AWFUL! We made the mistake of signing w/ Erickson's to do the repair of the area. After months of haggling with the insurer the work was final begun to repair and replace the damaged areas late spring 2016. Erickson's wanted 50% of the amt. the insurer would pay which I paid directly to them. Then we had out of pocket costs for plumber (supposed to be part of contract $), electrician (supposed to be part of contract $), carpenter (supposed to be part of the contract $) and I purchased the cabinetry direct for a far lesser price than I was quoted from Erickson's. My only up grade in materials was corrian counters for the bath & efficiency galley. Sight modification of the location new hot water heater to galley instead of bath area which was only on the other side of wall to previous location. I wanted a specific HWH because of its size but the plumber decided a needed bigger unit which through off the sizing on the ordered cabinetry so I had to hire a carpenter to alter the newly purchased cabinet(s) to fit the HWH. The electrician was putting outlets other than where indicated and I had to have them back to put them where they were supposed to be. It took forever to install the vinyl flooring when it could have been installed after the painting. The project was finally in the final stages by August 2016 when their workers tore the flooring in the galley. My final walk through I had about 10 things that were still unfinished or damaged. I asked for final bill and didn't see that until October 2016 to which I needed a full accounting of very material and labor costs. They were demanding payment on the balance. I had the insurance check which I delivered to them asking that they refund my initial deposit which had been part of the insurance check with the payment in full. to this date haven't received the refund check or my Waiver of Lien document. HUGE mistake using this contractor! HUGE!

They did good work. I feel like we were overcharged. I feel like there are more inexpensive people out there. The workers were good.

The provider did not do under the beds, they were high pressure in trying to get us to sign alarge contract.

I was told my the service man that I would have the dryer for 24 hours.  He came 6 hours early to pick up

the equipment.  When I asked if he would credit the time that I did not have the equipment, he said yes.

After receiving the bill we called about getting a credit issued, next thing I received was a notice that a lein

would be filed against us if bill was not paid in full.

These people are unethical and corrupt.   They cleaned the mold in our unit but left items from the unit outside on the porch during the time the mold was cleaned up.  While the items were still outside, they tested the air for mold, and then returned the moldy items to the unit.  This was designed to trick the mold report into a clean test.  They then re-cleaned the unit, and this time they taped off the ductwork to the HVAC system, and disconnected the HVAC so that it was not running during the second mold test.  (It is impossible to test the air for mold when the A/C is not running because some mold lives in the ductwork).  They damaged (ruined) a $4,000 glass table and refused to pay for it.
Response from Ericksons Drying Systems
"Here are the facts of this job. Job Cost was $ 7,533.46 Not $ 15,000 This unit sat vacant for several months, an extended period of time. The HVAC system was not running. The unit was affected by Black Water/Sewage damage. You can tell by reviewing the pictures and seeing the drywall that was recently replaced. There were other contractors within this home prior to Erickson’s arrival. We were hired by the Seller of the property. When initially we walked the job, we were told that All Contents that are within the home are to be left in the home, including the doors. Any items that had tape on them must be left inside the unit. We were only hired to clean the structure of the unit. We were not hired to clean any of the contents. They were put on the lanai, because of 2 reasons, 1, we were not hired to clean them, and they could not be in there during the cleaning process and clearance test. We did however clean each and every door. At NO time did Erickson’s Drying Systems ever disconnect the HVAC system. We taped off the duct work because the ducts were cleaned within the unit. After cleaning, we always cover them so there is no cross contamination during the cleaning process of the home. This is standard in a mold remediation cleaning job. The previous air testing that was performed did not have the HVAC system on. As well as the plenum to the AC was opened. This drew outside air into the unit that was from the common area’s. The only reason why Erickson’s returned the items back within the home, was solely to help the buyers so they did not have to bring them back themselves. We should not have brought them back into the home; we should have left them on the lanai. After speaking with the Buyer, and hearing her issues, I offered to do several things to rectify the problem. We discarded all wicker furniture – At No Cost We discarded all doors – At No Cost We set up several Negative Air Machines, and let them run for 3-4 days – At No Cost We went up and beyond trying to help the buyer of the unit. I also offered her a free duct clean including air scrubbers after she was done remodeling her home. We were told the new buyers were putting in a new kitchen, flooring, etc. which would create a lot of dust. I did this because I did not want the buyer to have a bad experience. I was told this was a nice thing to do. And was thanked! As for the glass table, upon arrival to the unit, and inspecting the unit, Erickson’s uncovered the plastic that was covering the glass and came across the chip in the table. We took photographs to document before Erickson’s even started our job this is what was found. The pictures of the glass chip are below. The time stamp of the picture which is 2/25/2014 10:10 am. Is the day before we started cleaning. We did not start our job at that point. This was there previously. This is the first time I am hearing about the value of this piece of glass. However, I would think this price is inflated just like the state of the cost of our job being $ 15,000 and it really being only $ 7,533. There is only one party that is unethical and corrupt and that is Not Erickson’s. The new buyer even tried to get us to pay for the furniture that was within the unit, that was previously damaged. I have pictures of the table and their contents (We have pictures available but could not ad to this responce). Erickson’s is a family owned business, and we truly value and honor our customers. We try to go up and beyond what is needed to be done. Sincerely, Christine Erickson, CIE, CMRS"

By the time a leak was discovered, water was in my walls, carpet and cabinets.  Ericksons responded promptly and David was very professional in evaluating the area that was wet.  They brought in dryers, heaters and dehumidifiers to minimize any damage.  They stopped back daily to evaluate the progress.  Everyone who came was courteous and took care to minimize the disruption to my home.  I have not yet seen their bill but understand my insurer has approved it.

They were very good, no complaints what so ever. I believe that they removed the rugs. They were very courteous people. They did mold remediation. We were pleased with their work. We had gotten other quotes and they were the most reasonable.

It was good. There is nothing I would say that I really dislike. It was the first time I had a carpet dry cleaned and it worked very well. They were punctual, on time and they had done everything they said they would do. I paid a decent price. I will use them again in the future.

We live out of town and were told our condo was leaking to a lower floor. Erickson came immediately. The next four months weren't satisfactory. We spent months waiting for them to finish. They never returned our key. They left nails and litter on the floor. They did not repair the refrigerator, as they said they would. They charged $3,500 more than the insurance paid.

It went very well overall in spite of the procedures you have to live with such as dehumidifiers and hepa filters running, it sounds like you are living in an airport with jet engines running constantly. I would use them again hands down a way better experience than we had with a company called servpro which we used for fire and smoke damage (a total nightmare)

They were very good, very helpful, and very thorough. We called at midnight and they came out by one. It took five days to dry out the carpet. I have nothing to compare their price to but I think it was fair. They were really concerned and there were people in and out moving things around all the time; it was wonderful. There was one man that picked up my liquor cabinet before asking me and we lost two wine glasses. He was like a bull in a china shop. I would use this company again.
