"It is always a pleasure to see/reflect on positive reviews like this Angieslist.com member. This member happens to work with a nonprofit agency dedicated to leading environmental advocacy in [Redacted]. We are sensitive to our customer's needs and appreciate their faith in us."
"Glad we could be of assistance to this Angieslist.com member! This particular customer was one the owners visited on a Saturday, and we were delighted to stay in touch with her throughout the process to resolve her issues. Thank you for taking the time to post the review!"
"So grateful for the opportunity to meet this customer! He visited our offices and brightened our day. Water damage mitigation work and follow-up is often fraught with many days worth of phone calls, meetings with insurance adjusters, and constant communications; this customer was a real joy to connect with."
"We have been providing this Angieslist.com customer with services for a number of years, and relationship has meant everything! Truly, whether it's carpet cleaning, or water/mold damage mitigation, we are happy to support her needs and the needs of others."
"It was extremely generous of you to share your experience with us, the good, the bad, and the warm family stories after the work was finalized, and some time passed. Erickson's Drying Systems has been serving our area for more than 24 years, helping dozens of customers a week, and we strive to create the best available water, mold, and fire damage remediation, as well as biohazard, construction, and carpet/tile cleaning services. While we do make mistakes, we know that who you call makes a difference, and we sincerely hope that in the future we will have the opportunity to earn your business. We continue working very hard with the team to ensure we improve our services so that we do not repeat poor experiences like the one you described. For your honesty, and transparency, we are immensely grateful."
The provider did not do under the beds, they were high pressure in trying to get us to sign alarge contract.
I was told my the service man that I would have the dryer for 24 hours. He came 6 hours early to pick up
the equipment. When I asked if he would credit the time that I did not have the equipment, he said yes.
After receiving the bill we called about getting a credit issued, next thing I received was a notice that a lein
would be filed against us if bill was not paid in full.
"Here are the facts of this job. Job Cost was $ 7,533.46 Not $ 15,000 This unit sat vacant for several months, an extended period of time. The HVAC system was not running. The unit was affected by Black Water/Sewage damage. You can tell by reviewing the pictures and seeing the drywall that was recently replaced. There were other contractors within this home prior to Erickson’s arrival. We were hired by the Seller of the property. When initially we walked the job, we were told that All Contents that are within the home are to be left in the home, including the doors. Any items that had tape on them must be left inside the unit. We were only hired to clean the structure of the unit. We were not hired to clean any of the contents. They were put on the lanai, because of 2 reasons, 1, we were not hired to clean them, and they could not be in there during the cleaning process and clearance test. We did however clean each and every door. At NO time did Erickson’s Drying Systems ever disconnect the HVAC system. We taped off the duct work because the ducts were cleaned within the unit. After cleaning, we always cover them so there is no cross contamination during the cleaning process of the home. This is standard in a mold remediation cleaning job. The previous air testing that was performed did not have the HVAC system on. As well as the plenum to the AC was opened. This drew outside air into the unit that was from the common area’s. The only reason why Erickson’s returned the items back within the home, was solely to help the buyers so they did not have to bring them back themselves. We should not have brought them back into the home; we should have left them on the lanai. After speaking with the Buyer, and hearing her issues, I offered to do several things to rectify the problem. We discarded all wicker furniture – At No Cost We discarded all doors – At No Cost We set up several Negative Air Machines, and let them run for 3-4 days – At No Cost We went up and beyond trying to help the buyer of the unit. I also offered her a free duct clean including air scrubbers after she was done remodeling her home. We were told the new buyers were putting in a new kitchen, flooring, etc. which would create a lot of dust. I did this because I did not want the buyer to have a bad experience. I was told this was a nice thing to do. And was thanked! As for the glass table, upon arrival to the unit, and inspecting the unit, Erickson’s uncovered the plastic that was covering the glass and came across the chip in the table. We took photographs to document before Erickson’s even started our job this is what was found. The pictures of the glass chip are below. The time stamp of the picture which is 2/25/2014 10:10 am. Is the day before we started cleaning. We did not start our job at that point. This was there previously. This is the first time I am hearing about the value of this piece of glass. However, I would think this price is inflated just like the state of the cost of our job being $ 15,000 and it really being only $ 7,533. There is only one party that is unethical and corrupt and that is Not Erickson’s. The new buyer even tried to get us to pay for the furniture that was within the unit, that was previously damaged. I have pictures of the table and their contents (We have pictures available but could not ad to this responce). Erickson’s is a family owned business, and we truly value and honor our customers. We try to go up and beyond what is needed to be done. Sincerely, Christine Erickson, CIE, CMRS"
