Not a good experience. Installation was poor and incomplete. Had to go to 3rd level of management in order to get job corrected. The granite was not level, 3 pieces were not fastened to counter. It took 5 calls to get their attention. Management sent great team down to fix the granite, but drywall had to be cut away to anchor new angle iron for breakfast bar top. After they departed I realized they had not sealed the granite. That took another call to management, and a return to the house yet again.
On balance, management did get it corrected, and to our satisfaction, but it took much too much effort on my part to make it happen. Again, on balance management did give us a check to pay for drywall repairs.
I was assured that the exercise did serve as a lesson to those responsible for quality assurance....
It did not go smooth at all, BUT they did end up installing our granite and it did come out beautiful.
Met with salesman who was nice, but one should never confuse sales with service. The salesman said no problem and installation is no more than 10 days from template of countertops. We went with CE.
Big mistake. They lied about having slabs in the plant. They were asked to send pictures of the slab and did not. They were very late on the install date. They failed to take the extra slab parts as I had requested and make coasters or hot plates. Not a thing.
But the worst part - the counter was installed without cutting any ends or back splashes. It was installed against a wall with a large gap left. Installer questioned by contractor about this and told if he wanted those, call the shop and it would take another three weeks!
Once installed, no follow up by company to see if we were satisfied with work or service. they're getting their answer now.
Go somewhere else - not a storefront in Ft myers where the work is done miles away.
