We were told by Crowther that our roof did not need to be replaced, which made us wrongly view them as trustworthy. After all, they could try to sell us a new roof, but didn't even try. We paid nearly $1000 for a repair. Months later an inspection of our roof by another company revealed serious damage that was attributable to Hurricane Irma. Fortunately, we learned this before it was too late to reopen our insurance claim. I would not trust their advice or do business with this company.

I'm extremely happy with them. The work they did held up in the hurricane. I would use them again.

Set up an estimate for the job and an estimator arrived on time after coordinating with my homewatch representative. Took several pictures and we scheduled a repair visit when I was going to be at the property 2 weeks out. Set up an 8AM appointment and the tech was right on time. Spent 4-5 hours at the property and did work outside and under the roof in the rafter space so I know it was hot. Invoice came in under estimate. Took "after" pictures to demonstrate work that was completed.

Excellent workers. Professional in every aspect of there work. Several local roof contractors were contacted and crowthers roofing was the only one that seemed interested and wanting my business by following up after they gave me a bid.

Rating this business  was a struggle for me. After my first few contacts with them, I would have given an F.
My experience was similar to another reviewer(s) who talked about the initial estimate. The guy didn't want to even go up on to my roof, just guessed from the ground. And as it turns out, his "guess" wasn't very good. And either was his word; I ended up paying about 30% more than he promised. And the guy was a complete and total failure when it came to follow through. He didn't call when he said he would, he didn't return multiple calls and texts when I tried to track him down. When I finally reached him he made some lame excuse about paperwork. When I asked why he didn't respond to days worth of texts and calls, he replied "I didn't know who you were." Really? Even when you looked at the first and last name and street address I left with the text messages? Ugh.
Enter Joe Russo. He is a supervisor I believe, and when I complained to him about what happened, he took over, personally coming to my home, going up onto the roof, taking pictures, explaining to me what was going on.
They weren't the cheapest bid I got, but they do quality work. Put Joe in charge of training and maybe next time they'll get an A.
I would probably use them again in spite of the clusterfluck experience early on, as I ended up having a level of trust with the company and often times that is worth more than anything else.

The roof is great. Getting there was not so great. First of all, the company never gave us a heads up when they were coming. On the days they told our contractor that they would be here, they never showed. On days they were not supposed to show, they came at 7am. Their employees littered our yard with soda bottles, cigarettes, food debris, chicken bones, etc for the first couple of days, until we had our contractor talk to the supervisor about it. He claimed that he had talked to them about this before, but these might be new guys. When they got to our second story, there was damage, and they tried to add in an extra $1,000 plus to fix it. My contractor took care of it instead. Once they had all of the old roof ripped off, it took them a week or so to deliver the metal. When they did, it was the WRONG METAL. So instead of bringing the right metal, and hauling the wrong metal away, they brought the right metal and left the wrong metal in our yard for two or three WEEKS over the Christmas/New Years holidays. After MUCH pushing, they finally came and retrieved the wrong metal from our front yard. They skipped doing some soffits that were part of our quote, even after being reminded four times. Once they had our money, they were completely disinterested in doing things correctly - at one point, after my contractor had given them a list of issues, the supervisor took my husband aside and tried to get him to say that the problems were not a big deal, and our contractor was being nit-picky. No, WE WERE! The final icing on the cake was after we went through all of this difficulty, we found that the roofers had left huge, sharp, curled chunks of metal and rusted screws all over our yard for my son to step on and my dogs to find. We let them know, but they weren't concerned - they had our money. Thank goodness the roof is beautiful, because it was too much difficulty for anything less.

I purchased house 12 years ago. It had a prior history of roof leakage.  The sellers replaced entire roof just prior to my purchase.  It stilled leaked.  Fortunately not in house but through the lanai ceiling sheetrock.  Through the years I have hired numerous roofers to repair the two leaks.  None were ever successful with either leak.  This year in March, I decided to try one more time.  I interviewed a number of the areas most popular roofers that came with some sort of recommendation.  Their analysis of the problem were completely different from each other and their prices were as well.  I took the recommendation from a Real Estate Broker who said that whenever she had a roofing problem prior to a closing she called Crowther and the problem was corrected.  I went with them.  Initially the two man crew spent a number of days replaced wood where necessary and believed that they found the problems and corrected them.  I had to wait for some heavy downpours to determine if there were any leaks.  After two major rainstorms I discovered that one leak was repaired and one still leaked.  After two months, I called the office and advised them of the leak.  They immediately acknowledged their responsibility per their guarantee and sent another crew over.  It was brought to my attention that this crew was instructed to find and correct the problem no matter how long it took.  After inspecting every inch of the roof both visually and with water tests with no success, they then did something no other roofer ever considered.  They then proved to me that this location was where the water was coming from. I was convinced as well.  While I am not sure that it was the roofing company's responsibly, they repaired the problem.  I have waited until there were a few heavy rain storms before having the ceiling sheet rock repaired and writing this review.  I am a very happy customer, and when the time comes to have a new roof installed they will be the first and probably last place I will call.

They were great. They came when they said they would and we had no problems with the leak after they came. They were very thorough and professional.

I am still waiting for the tile repair. I want to give them a chance to fix the roof but I am not sure I will ever see them. My patience is running out.
I can't really rate their work because it hasn't been done.
Hopefully they will step up and resolve my problem.
The rating form does not reflect the problem I am having.
The main problem is that no one calls to say they won't be there.

Update. Mike called and arived early Monday morning August 5th. He looked at my roof and gave me a verbal estimate for the repairs. He said his crew would be here Wednesday the 7th to replace around 25 tiles. He was polite and apologized for the delay.
I will update after the repairs are done.

August 11th
The repairs were done on Wednesday August 7th. My roof looks great and the tiles match. The repair crew was prompt and courteous. I am waiting for a bill and repair details. I will update this again.
Response from Crowther Residential Roofing
"Our Service Manager, Mike Logan, has actually been to this customer's home. He collected a tile so he could match it when ordering replacement tile. [member name removed] was not home at the time and apparently her house mate did not tell her Mike had been there to assess the problem and take steps toward a solution. The tile has been ordered and he is scheduled to be there on Wednesday to complete the repair."

They were on time. they understood what I wanted done. They did everything they promised and then some to make my roof look good again after the prior contractor damaged it while installing a solar panel. My sales rep / sale person ( Mark Simpson) was excellent and very helpful. They cleaned up afterwards and I am very happy with the results.
