Rob's inspection and subsequent report were thoughtful and thorough. The report made it easier than I thought it would be to get a clear picture of the home we were looking at - acceptable, marginal and defective, with pictures - in order to make plan(s) of action. Importantly, this was at a time when time was rather short (buyer's inspection period). He also suggested a great company who did the inspection for termites.

Excellent experience! Rob was prompt, thorough and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain his findings. I needed the inspection done on short notice. Rob was very responsive and returned calls and emails quickly, and fit the work into his schedule so I was able to make my deadline. He clearly has a passion for his work and knows his stuff and I would highly recommend him.

Robert was responsive, polite, and showed up early on the morning of the inspection He did a thorough inspection of our Pulte Del Webb home in Tidewater (Estero FL). He walked the entire roof, identifying several cracked tiles, and used a FLIR gun to detect temperature gradients/leaks in the roof. Robert found some really interesting issues I would not otherwise have found. He submitted a professional & comprehensive report with photos on the same afternoon as the inspection. The Pulte warranty person concurred with Robert’s findings, and expressed his respect for Coastal Home Inspectors and Robert. I would highly recommend this guy!

I was buying a house in Naples, FL during Covid and live in NJ. The seller literally emailed me after the inspection and said he's finally out of here after five hours!!!! I highly recommend Robert and his company!

The inspector was very thorough, and the services were performed within 24 hours of my request. His estimated time requirement was 4 hours, but stayed more than 5 hours to complete the inspection. His detailed report was delivered electronically that same evening.

Rob really helped us out! We were given a short inspection window in our purchase contract. Rob fit us in during his planned time off, did not charge us a rush premium and even gave us credit for the Angie’s List coupon. Was early to the inspection. Fully explained what he would be doing and entertained any questions from us, the buyers. Brought all of the equipment necessary to complete a thorough inspection and encouraged testing that he felt was necessary. He was correct, as a radon remediation was required. I highly recommend Justin, as he was very professional, on time and again, thorough with his inspection. He invited questions and provided wonderful and understandable answers. It was a A++ experience.

I was in a bind and needed a roof inspection done quickly. Explained my situation to Robert Stewart of Coastal Home Inspectors Saturday afternoon. He offered to inspect the property Sunday morning. By noon I had a complete report with major & minor roof deficiencies noted along with pictures documenting problems. I can not say enough about their customer service. I will definitely use them in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I wasn't able to be there at the time of the inspection but they meet up with our realtor, who said they did a great job, she's probably been through many of these and would know best. Mold Remediation, Mold Testing
The inspector was very thorough. He rated the problems that he found as cosmetic, marginal or defective. This made it easy to go back to the seller w/an accurate list with items that needed to be done ASAP and not bother with cosmetic items. The seller agreed to take care of the items we felt were important enough, and should have been taken care of as a normal maintenance. We had a mold inspection done ($200).
