+ -1 moreThis company correctly evaluated all aspects of the project including accurate total cost, permitting requirements, necessary repairs on existing structure and all associated concerns. The integrity of the proposal was maintained throughout the job and all changed were discussed and agreed upon. The personnel on the job site were very professional and skilled. The owner of the company kept close oversight from beginning to completion and was often physically present and actually working personally on the job. We were not present during parts of the construction, but were kept updated on the progress with photos, emails, and texts. We found this company through a referral. We were told we could expect a top-notch result and we got it. From the first day to the last, everything went smoothly and as expected. We would absolutely use this company again and would heartily recommend them. There were no surprises or disappointments. Mark Millar, owner, is a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Built large deck on home and completed additional ancillary projects.

replacement windows
+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the whole experience with Citi Developments of Ft. Myers from start to finish. This was our first time replacing windows, and my husband and I did not know what to expect, or where to start. We were not only given great choices; we were also given great advice, from Mark, in reference to what would be best suited for our home. His suggestions actually saved us money! The ewindows that were installed were facing the hottest side of our home. We no longer have a problem with feeling the heat coming into our home, which was our biggest issue. Citi Developments was also very neat. The mess was contained and cleaned quickly. My husband, prior to our window installation, had broken one of the window seals. Mark and his team fixed it just like new! Not long after installation, we received a call, to make sure we were happy with our product and service, from Mark himself. To me, this says alot about the importance of customer satisfaction. Citi Developments is trustworthy, neat, helpful, and is owned by a very honest man. There is no better choice, and when we replace our remaining windows we will return to Citi Developments of Ft. Myers!

+ -1 moreWOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL WORKMANSHIP DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION. Citi Developments is a great company.
Description of Work: We contracted this company to add on a second floor to our one story second home. We added two bedroom suites complete with attached bathrooms in each suite and walk in closets. All flooring in the bedrooms was hard wood and the bathrooms was stone/tiles. We had solar tubes in each bathroom. We had separate hot water heater and HVAC units in the addition. The materials used by the company were of high quality and well thought out. The workmanship was more than we had expected given that we were in the north and they were in the south doing the work. However, through multiple media outlets we were kept in the mix and it came out exactly as designed. The company owner, Mark Millar, made design changes along the way that enhanced the addition and had only become apparent during the actual construction itself. He never hesitated to make suggestions as he saw fit. He also sent us a photo gallery during the whole construction process. We were always in the loop and up to speed. His communication skills were excellent. He started the job on time and completed the job on time which is extremely unusual in this industry. The completion date was slated to be 2.22.12 and it was 2.22.12. The job came out great! Mark’s company has also done other alterations to our home and each one came out with the same excellent quality. The company does great work. His employees were very talented and were very respectful of the property.

+ -1 moreThe project went well in 2006. However, I recently discovered the roof was leaking at one of the plumbing vents in the roof. The roof was still under the five year warrentee but the roofer (who had subcontracted to Citi) had gone out of business. I contacted Mr. Millar concerning the leak. He met me at the house and confirmed the leak location. Mr. Millar returned the following day and repaired the leak. In addition he inspected all of the other plumbing vents to make sure there were no other problems. Mr. Millar did not charge me for his time or the materials required to fix the leak. Needless to say, I was quite happy and impressed that he honored the warrentee of the defunct roofer. I will certainly consider using Citi Developments again for any future remodeling work.
Description of Work: I hired Citi Developments (Mark Millar) in 2006 to add a garrage to my house, replace the existing shingle roof with a metal roof, and several other minor renovations.
