I called to get a verbal estimate for our move from a storage unit to our new home. The woman who answered the phone told me Amy would call me.  Amy never called.  I called again and had to ask several questions before being referred to the owner, Shawn, who did give me an estimate.  I called about 10 days later to schedule the move.  The woman who answered the phone was flustered and said she couldn't schedule the move because she didn't have the estimate. She asked me to call back. I don't think it is my responsibility to call back.  I again asked that the owner call me to confirm the move date. Shawn never called. I received an email late in the day indicating my move was confirmed. No call and no details.  But I still had questions - What time? What kind of truck?  The email just meant that Shawn didn't call me back and I had to call again. I called again to get my questions answered and after getting "push back" from the woman who answered the phone, I asked that Shawn call me again. I realized that I was working very hard to do business with this company that moved us into our storage unit and did a good job, but I was working very hard just to get this move scheduled.   If I was having this much difficulty scheduling a move and getting my questions answered, what was it going to be like if there were issues during or after the move? I decided to not use them. I made one call to another mover I found on angle's list.  They scheduled my move, gave me an estimate, told me how many guys and what kind of truck and what time I would meet them in one phone call.  Done!
